An aggravated assault case against George Zimmerman that was opened when his ex-girlfriend said he threw a wine bottle at her has been dropped because she recanted her story and stopped cooperating with investigators, a prosecutor said Friday.
State Attorney Phil Archer said he wouldn’t file a formal charge against Zimmerman, the former neighborhood watch leader who was acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin. The killing of the unarmed black teen touched off protests across the country.
The ex-girlfriend had made it clear she didn’t want to cooperate with Lake Mary Police officers, and there were no other eyewitnesses to what happened earlier this month, Archer said.
“While it is clear that the officers had probable cause to arrest Mr. Zimmerman … the subsequent recantation by the victim of her initial statement … precludes my office from proceeding further,” Archer said in a statement. …

GZ needs to (1) move to another state and never ever return to Florida for any reason, (2) legally change his name to an extremely common first and last name, (3) move to a third state where they do not know about his original name, (4) choose women who are lower on the crazy-scale, even if that means he has to settle for lower on the hotness scale too, and (5) not point weapons or throw objects at his crazy girlfriends in Florida when he ignores #1-#4 above. It’s too easy and too tempting for a crazy woman to put GZ in the news and behind bars again (whether the accusations are true or not).

There seems to be a pattern forming here.
This isn’t a “lack of evidence” sort of thing. This is yet another, “oh, she lied. Never mind.” sort of thing.
This one confirmed that the pattern is real.
Zimmerman has been one lucky dude...so far.
A basic problem I have with GZ's life since his trial is:I'm old enough to get Social Security yet I've *never* had any trouble with he cops.I've received *many* parking tickets in my life but only *one* moving violation,which I fought in court and won.*Nobody*,male *or* female,has ever called the cops on me...and nobody's ever had *reason* to call them.
If I can do it...why can't GZ?

Not a legal type by any stretch, but this isn’t binary, there are other potential reasons for recanting beyond the charges being false.
So now provide me with proof that she lied.
Try to make your neighborhood better and through no fault of your own you may get murderously attacked by a black man.
Then - if you survive - your life will pile up. You will become the target of big-state sympathisers in the police and judiciary. You will become vulnerable to perjured statements by unhinged people.
And most cruelly of all: self-proclaimed 'conservative' Freepers will disown you. They will loudly declare that you must be a nutjob and wonder why you keep getting in trouble with the police.

Now it's your turn: provide proof that she told the truth.
When you provide the proof try not to rely on the baseless accusations that she herself has recanted.
Having to defend his own life against a black thug and then being selected by the Obama administration as the poster boy for the "all whites are evil racists" campaign is not my idea of "lucky".
They would have to be to hear ‘breaking glass’ and to see ‘the girlfriend pull out of the druveway’!
Not really. Wouldn’t expect them to be so blatant with the proof.
