Remind me - who bears the onus of proof in the American legal system?

But I'll play.

She recanted rather than repeat her statements in court. There's your proof that her statements were baseless.

Now it's your turn: provide proof that she told the truth.

When you provide the proof try not to rely on the baseless accusations that she herself has recanted.

There is no proof to be had either way in a he said she said situation, and you most certainly did not provide proof. What you provided was proof to satisfy you. What is clear, is that this woman does not want to be identified. Following through with the allegations would prohibit her from not being named. I believe that was her motivation to recant. I see a pattern with George developing. Either women are out to destroy him, or George is losing it. In my opinion I think George is losing it. Admittedly that is my opinion, however, the other scenario could be that case. To me the issue is not worth arguing over. To George it is everything. I feel for George, but considering what he has been through, and unfairly so I might add, it would not surprise me that he is starting to lose it. I even think I would be starting to lose it as well. I think George should try to sue all of the news outlets that tried his case in the court of public opinion.
