I’ve been emailed this text of remarks Mitt Romney will be making to his supporters shortly:
Let me begin by letting you know who else is on this call, besides Ann and me. There are a large number of people who signed on to be leaders of our 2016 finance effort. In addition, state political leadership from several of the early primary states are on the line. And here in New York City, and on the phone, are people who have been helping me think through how to build a new team, as well as supporters from the past who have all been kind enough to volunteer their time during this deliberation stage. Welcome, and thank you. Your loyalty and friendship, and your desire to see the country with new, competent and conservative leadership warms my heart.
After putting considerable thought into making another run for president, I’ve decided it is best to give other leaders in the Party the opportunity to become our next nominee.

Sounds like you’re hoping Walker will do something he is not on record saying he will, but Walker has on record said he is for a pathway for illegals. We did the hope thing twice already...and 8 years of Bush who did jack to secure the Southern Border.

The GOPe is very smart. They will field only ONE candidate. Then the several conservative candidates will divided votes and lose. Watch CHristy drop out next and clear the path for Jeb Bush.
Repeat 2012. Rinse and repeat. Conservatives have no unity. They will not unite behind one candidate. Which is why they will not win in 2016.
I agree with Bush (Barbara Bush), who said:
“We’ve had enough Bushes”
At least initially... Now sounds like that statement is being “adjusted”, surprise, surprise.

You need to travel the world more. I visited Singapore in March 2014. They have 3.5 million citizens, and 2 million foreign workers!
Guess what, every 6th Singapore citizen is a millionaire.
The foreign workers on 2 year work visa works great. The infrastructure in Singapore makes ours in USA look like a third world country. Singapore knows who is there and where they live and how long they will stay. Here in USA, no one knows where the 15 million illegals are or what they are doing. By requiring work permits, all that mystery vanishes. The foreign workers are required to re-apply every 2 years, if their employer wants them and no citizens can fill that job.
Remember the 2000 ‘race.’ W had the nomination all sown up months before the earliest primaries and caucuses. Jeb is trying to the same as he knows his $ won’t buy OUR primary votes.
I lived in Singapore in 2003.

Mittens FINALLY awakens.
I don’t think Mitt wants to be VP. He has been running for president for 15 years. There has to be something else.
Looks like I was right. That behind-closed-doors meeting between Jebbie and Mittens was to decide who gets to be king. The GOPe has made its decision. Now all that remains is for the GOP to pack the rest of the field with conservatives so Jebbie can win each primary with just 20-25% of the vote.

Oh, wow! Even if he’s walked it back, that greatly diminishes Walker’s reliability factor. Amnesty pimps need not apply!!
