United States senators are now on the record on the question of whether climate change is "a hoax."
The Senate on Wednesday passed a measure stating that "climate change is real and is not a hoax" by a margin of 98-1.
The amendment was designed in part as a jab at GOP Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, who has questioned the science of climate change.
Inhofe voted for the measure, arguing that the true "hoax" is that climate change is the result of human activity.
"Climate is changing, and climate has always changed, and always will, there's archeological evidence of that, there's biblical evidence of that, there's historic evidence of that, it will always change," he said on the Senate floor. "The hoax is that there are some people that are so arrogant to think that they are so powerful that they can change climate. Man can't change climate."

I used to tell my students that “climate change” wasn’t anything new, but when I was a kid we called it “seasons”.
He’s the only one who reads a special meaning into the plain English words.

the part that Agenda 21 plays in the NWO scheme of global governance was just shifted in to high gear
I grew up in L.A. in the 1970s, and of course, back then, you couldn’t help but hearing about Charles Manson, of course.
So being the curious tyke that I was, I asked my Dad about him, and said (IIRC) “Who did he kill?”
My Dad said, “Well, strictly speaking.....no one. He got his girlfriends to do his dirty work for him. But...under the law, that’s conspiracy to commit murder.”
trick question. Climate always changes, or else we never would have had an ice age. However, the real question is, is it man made?
This sounds like semantics. A play on words.
Climate Change is a hoax.
As is defined by the libs - Climate change is man made and is going to kill us all by 2036.
Any senator - including Ted Cruz - that was stupid enough to deny the hoax that is Climate Change is to be be held in high suspicion.
MISSISSIPPI PING!
The left has been manipulating the language in order to deceive since Genesis 3.
I believe in climate change and have always believed in climate change. However, I don’t believe in “Anthropogenic Global Warming”!
They went along with the plain English words. Not the liberal reinterpretation of same, which ironically Mr. Inhofe fell for.
Climate change is not a hoax, it’s been happening since the beginning of time, the hoax is that man is the problem and that anything we do will make an appreciable difference. It’s being used to “manage” man as if humanity were a crop and to enslave the population. roger wicker, on the wrong side again. I would say that most who voted it was not a hoax would disagree with me and say climate change is the fault of man and believe they have complete control over me to “save the earth”. They now use the correct term “climate change” instead of “global warming”. There’s nothing we can do to either stop it from changing or make it change.
I read numerous post on this forum from posters who said we should vote Republican because ____________________. the implication was, give the Republican control of the Senate and our troubles would be over. Some tried to sound a warning that all was not as it seemed and how they were ridiculed, slandered, and libeled. History will show that they were correct and the ridiculers were_______.
I don't even doubt that some of it is man-made. We pump millions of tons of pollutants into the atmosphere. Certainly this has some effect on climate.
My problems with the issue are twofold: For one, I don't believe that climate change is cataclysmic. I believe we will adapt and some regions will actually prosper from a warmer climate. Second, the so-called solutions are farcical. On one end, the cure is to basically plunge our standard of living to pre-industrial levels. That's not going to happen. Failing this, the other solution is a massive transfer of wealth from wealthy nations to poor ones via carbon tax credits. And that's what climate change is REALLY about --a mechanism to transfer our money to third world countries while feeling good about it! Hey! We can keep enjoying our cars and electricity as long as we give money to Sudan! Isn't that awesome!
So how about someone presenting a resolution that is worded in some sensible fashion. Oh no, it is much funner just to cavil.
Yes, you said that with a lot less words than I did.
Come back when you want to think logically and not put up half a dozen strawmen to bash.
I pledge to deny Republicans the Presidency in 2016.
My bad. I should have read the article. Roger Wicker is the only one with the guts to stand up to the flimflam. Inhofe wimped out.
Thanks for correcting me.
