United States senators are now on the record on the question of whether climate change is "a hoax."
The Senate on Wednesday passed a measure stating that "climate change is real and is not a hoax" by a margin of 98-1.
The amendment was designed in part as a jab at GOP Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, who has questioned the science of climate change.
Inhofe voted for the measure, arguing that the true "hoax" is that climate change is the result of human activity.
"Climate is changing, and climate has always changed, and always will, there's archeological evidence of that, there's biblical evidence of that, there's historic evidence of that, it will always change," he said on the Senate floor. "The hoax is that there are some people that are so arrogant to think that they are so powerful that they can change climate. Man can't change climate."

Before the little ice age the climate was WARMER than it is now. That was less than 1000 years ago. What did they do then? Well for one thing the cold spell was more damaging to the human race than the warm that preceded it.
Cruz is correct ... climate change is something that is absolutely verified, without a doubt, throughout earth’s history!

It’s also factually true that Hitler didn’t kill millions of people. His subordinates did under his orders.
It’s also true Lee Harvey Oswald do not kill Kennedy, the bullet he fired out of his rifle killed him.
It’s how you ask the question.
The question is, is carbon dioxide emitted by man causing anthropogenic climate change. I seriously doubt that to be true.
Attach the Keystone Pipeline bill to it, just to watch Obama veto it!
Why is the Senate wasting time on trivial questions? Is it just the Democrats bolstering their base of low-information voters?
I guess that we will see more and more of this foolishness as long as Democrats are around.
The principal factor in climate change is the Sun for Earth, Mars, Venus, etc.
The scientific method sure has advanced since I was young; we just tested hypotheses against the facts. Taking a vote to decide scientific questions is much more democratic.
I do not believe that the earth’s climate is stable, but neither am I convinced that (1) the climate is warming rapidly, (2) a warming climate is bad, (3) human activity is the primary cause of the warming, and (4) increasing government control over our lives will prevent global warming without doing even more harm than is prevented. I just want this and all scientific questions decided based on evidence, not a rush to accept the theory that will bring the most money to researchers and the most power to politicians.

Climate change is not a hoax. Cruz is right. Climate change is something that no one can dispute; it’s been verified throughout earth’s history!
James Inhofe is the only serious person in the Senate. No serious person still believes in the climate change hoax.
