from Duke Universitys chapel tower after all.
The university announced that it has reconsidered its decision to allow the call for prayer from the iconic tower on Fridays.
The reversal came a day after evangelist Franklin Graham posted a scathing criticism on Facebook asking donors not to give to Duke until the policy was changed.

Well done, Mr. Graham!
What sane American or Christian donates to Duke anyway?
Only a thoroughly Leftist university steeped in years of Marxist thought could even consider such an action in the first place.
He deserves a charles martel “defense of civilization award” which I just made up
Anyone paying attention, that was a contributor, should have stopped doing so after the Duke administration’s handling of the lacrosse situation.
Universities are liberal’s churches...they tithe there.
Ping; Mount Athos’ idea has merit.
We are about to enter a period in our history which will mark the end of this nation as we know it. Without leadership in government to stop the spread of Islam here, it’s over. How sad to watch it all come down.
Bingo.
The article states that they still allow the Muslims to use the chapel for their Muslim services. Unbelievable. In a church.
I love Graham’s point that this chapel was built for the glory of the God the Bible by donor money. The God of the Bible is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That is not the line from which Muslims come. The God of the Bible is three in one: Father, Spirit and Son. When I hear a Muslim say we worship the same God, I ask them bluntly, “Oh, so you worship Jesus as God?” No Muslim will ever agree to that statement.
This is the Muslim M.O. As a sign of conquest, they take control of Jewish or Christian holy sites and dedicate them to Allah. Examples include the mosque built over the remains of the Jerusalem temple, their attempt to build a mosque at ground zero after 9/11, and their recent prayer service at our National Chapel.
Now they’re going for university chapels.
Franklin Graham is showing a lost world how to speak confidently with moral clarity. We can all learn from him.
Well done!
From the article:
“We’re all very upset right now,” said Daniel Ray, 24, in his third year of the divinity master’s degree program. Ray said he feels like the school wants to recruit Muslim students and take their tuition, but deny them the opportunity to openly worship. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
This gets to what this issue is all about. Universities have to give huge discounts (scholarships, grants etc) to attract American students, but they can charge foreign students full price and get it. Just like our Republican politicians, higher education institutions in the USA will cheerfully whore themselves out to Muslims for some cash.
The only reason Duke changed it’s mind in this case is that enough Alumni donors threatened to withhold funds, and some beancounter there figured out that they would lose more money from donations than they would get from rich Muslim students.
If only the same strategy would work with the Republican party.
Your point is well taken, but Graham is standing up to the Muslim bully. He does so consistently, regardless of where Islam seeks to gain ground. He fills a leadership gap in the Christian church that needs filling. His sister, Anne Graham Lotz does the same. They are a solid team.
Islam should not have first amendment protection.
Someone should ask these Muslim students if they would allow Christians to hold worship services in their mosques, and force them to give a straightforward answer.
His father is one of the greatest men who ever lived.
May God bless Rev. Franklin Graham for speaking the truth.
God bless Franklin Graham!
