In a sermon excerpt posted on the Internet on January 10, 2015, Tunisian cleric Bechir Ben Hassen declared that anyone cursing the Prophet Muhammad should be punished by death. Sheikh Ben Hassen recently posted online a video message recorded opposite the International Criminal Court in the Hague, in which he praised European democracy, tolerance, and freedom of speech.

Following is an excerpt:

Bechir Ben Hassen: Even blind people, who lost their sight, avenged [the honor] of their Prophet. Therefore, the punishment for anyone who curses the Prophet Muhammad is to be killed. He should be punished by execution. His killing is sanctioned by a number of Quranic verses, by the Sunna, and by the consensus of the scholars...

Muhammad cursed himself. He had the opportunity to love Christ since he knew about the faith of Jews and Christians, calling them "the people of the Book".

Instead, he created a false all-powerful god taken from the pantheon of false gods worshipped by Arab Bedouins. He created a lying unholy book for his followers that refers to the Lord Jesus as "Isa", belittling His Deity and Kingship.

In so doing, unless he had an unrecorded deathbed conversion, Muhammad consciously rejected the One True God and cursed himself with eternity in Hell.
