Everyone knew the NFL was going to make America's Team pay for winning against Detroit last week. The NFL and the Liberal Media both loathe the Dallas Cowboys. EVERY bad call went against Dallas today, including that abortion of an overrule when Dez Bryant caught that ball, fumbled it into the end zone, and recovered it for a Touchdown.
The rest of the NFL season is just Kabuki.

Yes it was........and FWIW, I would love to see a superbowl in Lambeau stadium featuring the Packers in 10 degree weather in a blinding snowstorm........That would be REAL football!
Was just thinking the same thing too...
Maybe he’ll enter the race for the Republican nomination for POTUS raising the count to 24!
“Ill never understand how so many grown men in this nation can get so emotionally invested in a bunch of strangers playing a game designed for children.”
At least we are not acting like Soccer fans.
Lol. May bring Colorado back to red.
Oops. Post 105 was meant for you, Nascarnation.
I used to watch when i was in grade school, and was a big Dallas fan, but now it’s all so politicized and the players care about nothing but dolla bills, it will be two hand touch before to long and 90% of player are ferguson type! it’s just as bad as wwe..i would seriously rather watch paint dry than watch nfl game! just my 2c
Mike
“America’s Team” was bestowed on Dallas by NFL Films, not the Cowboy organization, and was bolstered over the years as Dallas’s NFL merchandizing sales often were greater than the rest of the league combined.
But, in the NFL, the ground CAN cause an incompletion, even if it can't cause a fumble.
Very tough call for Dallas, but not a bad call, IMHO.
I had that feeling too.
He’ll probably give it a few months to see how he feels, but it’s probably 70% that he hangs it up.
Dallas had ample opportunities to pull out the game, if they could have gotten a 3 and out, but it didn’t happen. Give credit to Green Bay and Rodgers.
The shocker to me was the late-game reluctance to blitz by the Cowboy’s defense. Rogers just stood in the pocket and nailed pass after pass, eschewing the running game entirely. It was ridiculous.
Yes, as I saw it, he caught the ball, then held it in one hand and stretched for the end zone. I don’t see why this wasn’t a “football move” made after the catch. It seemed clear that it was.
The Colts defense play well today, they were great making tackles on Bronco receivers in space.
Right now, I’m picking the Colts to win the Super Bowl. They remind me of the NY Giants teams that beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. Playing great defense in playoffs.
FWIW, I felt like Manning threw the game against Indianapolis.
Last 2 minutes when they controlled the ball, he needed 11 points to tie. Denver went out of their way to throw the ball as screen passes with tackles in bounds near the line of scrimmage, burning up the clock. The last play, again a screen pass with multiple receivers down field, and the receiver one step from the sidelines with 6 seconds left turned into 3 tacklers instead of running out of bounds.
I felt the same way in the 3rd qtr, by their body language.
I’m a Viking fan so I detested both teams playing in Green Bay today. I don’t have a dog in this fight but I do have an observation.
Last weekend, Terrell Suggs of the Ravens made an interception between his knees while rolling on the ground with the ball clearly not under control before it went into his hands. How is that a legal catch while Bryant’s wasn’t?
I saw a receiver who caught the ball with two feet down who hit the ground with the ball popping loose. For me that’s at the very least a catch, at the most it’s a catch with a fumble and recovery for a touchdown and in the middle it’s a catch when he controlled the ball in the end zone. The one thing it’s most certainly not is an imcompletion.
But as they say ... only in Green Bay.
Fair enough. To be blunt, a good team counts on overcoming a bad call or two! Dallas failed to do so. Sigh.
