Paris (AFP) - Around 700,000 people have poured out onto the streets of France on Saturday to pay tribute to the 17 people killed during three days of terror, the interior minister said.

Someone could tweet over our 2nd amendment in support.
Bunch of Activistophobes.
That end with using the French National Razor on them.
There options as a people who's government will not defend them? The same a jihadist...from their own groups and respond. That is where this is all going....history teaches us this over and over....time will tell if the people will turn on those groups or support them silently.
Where did the people get the weapons to shoot at a mosque and throw a grenade at a muslim owned store in response this week? What is left over from years past that the governments have not had turned into them? What countries would be willing to help destabilize Europe by supplying both groups with weapons? This is going to get interesting for muslims in the West.
We have not done that and we have lost a lot more. You are asking for a double standard.
You mean a literal application of La Marseillaise?
If this had happened in the USA Sharpton would now be leading marches around the country demanding the indictment of the police officers who killed the terrorists. It is good to see that the president of France gave the order to shoot to kill until they are all dead. Refreshing.
Yet, in Germany, they rally against “Islamophobia”. I sense a disconnect here?
It might be interesting to see the eventual outcome, in that while it can take the French awhile sometimes to do something, they tend to really go over the top when pushed too far. One can hope.
Despite what the President and other leftists here and abroad may say, more nd more people are awakening to the fact that this is a war between Islam and everything else. Atheist, gay, Catholic, Evangelical, Buddhist, New Age, agnostic; ALL have common cause in stopping (and preferable eliminating) the Religion Of Piss.
After months of rallies against islam and Merkle chiding them. The last rally was attended by 18,000 and that was probably a low number.
These 700,000 folks should have gone into the “no go” zones in Paris and cleaned out those Islamist rats nests. Lighting candles and singing kumbaya hasn’t worked for 800 years.
Do like those Muslim yutes do when they riot in France? Burn all the Muslim cars everywhere, I’d guess?
That’s not the rally anyone’s talking about in Germany right now. This is: http://www.thelocal.de/20150110/germanys-pegida-expects-record-rally
That assessment kind of leaves out that much of their Muslim problem was created by forming colonies in the Muslim world.
If you take countries in Africa and the Middle East into your empire, what sort of new citizens are you getting? If you later disband the empire, well...aren’t those same citizens who came to the home country (and their children) still citizens?
Yeah, France is getting Muslims sneaking in from abroad. But it would be a trickle if there were not a well established base of French Muslims to set them up when they arrive.
All of France thought this was a great idea starting in the seventeenth century.
More than that rallied against gay marriage. Fat lot of good it did them.
Gets my vote too.
What double standard? I have called for expelling th Moslems in this country, all the Moslems. If I say what the French indignants should do I don’t have to justify that by also saying at the same time what the Americans should do or what the Ethiopians should do or the Hungarians or the Russians or the Australians, etc.
Bablefish translates the signs the women are holding as follows:
OUBLIER MOHAMMED FORGET MOHAMMED
`A LENFER AVEC LISLAM TO HELL WITH ISLAM
JE AI FINI AVEC LISLAM IVE ENDED UP WITH ISLAM
Though my decades old high school French makes me question if the last one shouldn’t be interpreted more like “I AM FINISHED/DONE WITH ISLAM.”
The French think we’re going to save their necks once again.
