I'd take Romney. He seems more like he is learning, understanding, and trying to be more conservative as the years go on. Bush on the other hand is floating ideas that seem far less conservative to me as the years go on.
However, CRUZ IS MY TOP CHOICE!!! Go CRUZ!
Between the two = Romney
The Kool-Aid does seem to be losing some of its savor.
*””Romney because Bush is a backstabber on immigration like McCain.””*
With Mitt Romney, you always have to look past the campaign creation of recent years.
This is the REAL Mitt Romney on illegals.
My jaw dropped when I saw Mitt denying his illegals in the 2007 debate, and was not surprised what came of it a week later (well, surprised but not totally shocked).
Governor Mitt and wife Ann, were interacting with the Guatemalan illegals at their private home for 10 years. The landscaper that the illegals worked for, was a naturalized Colombian himself, personally chosen by Mitt, (A naturalized Colombian, Guatemalan illegals, and a sitting Governor during 4 years of that period), IDs better have been checked.
In December of 2006, the republican Governor was exposed, and suffered national embarrassment for using illegals for 10 years.
In December of 2007, in a national debate, Rudy Giuliani accused Mitt Romney of having run a Sanctuary Mansion. On national TV, Mitt Romney indignantly denied the claim.
A few days after the debate, the Boston Globe decided to look again at Mitts house, and guess what, they found Guatemalan illegals, they were working for the same Colombian, MITT HAD NEVER FIRED THEM!
Ten years and a national scandal, turned into 11 years, and into a second national scandal, with all the same players, the same contractor, Guatemalan illegals, and the same Mitt Romney and his wife interacting with them at their home during the week.
Romney failed miserably last time. He was nice to Obama while Obama was lying and slamming him at every turn. He doesn't have what it takes.
I understand why the left is pushing us to choose a loser again this time... that approach works for them.
Done with the RINOs. Neither will do...thank ya very much.
That makes two of us. I’ll never again vote for a new world order candidate.
A boot in the teeth or a dagger in the crotch...
Tough choice!
Another contentious Romney thread during a fundraiser. Gee...what ARE the odds of that happening every time I wonder?
Why, it’s almost like Team Romney found a way to create even more strife in the ranks and make these things last forever. Or go away entirely.
If you think voting with the democrats will lead to conservatives winning, then you sure have some ideas that I don't understand, can't you just let the 1 million immigrants we import annually for the democrat party fill in the democrat voting for you while you write in Cruz or something, or perhaps vote for one of our 50 "third parties"?
Well, voting for republicans isn’t getting Conservatives elected either. May as well try a different route.
Why do people keep forgetting that Romney did win an election once, he was a disaster, he was incompetent, that is why he couldn’t be reelected and left office with 34%, and lost the seat to the democrats.
Ted Cruz. A bit young and maybe inexperienced, but so was JFK. You don’t need to be 75 years old to have wisdom and strength. You just need the right concepts and ideas. Cruz understands the founding concepts of this nation and would apply them appropriately.
So you are serious in thinking that becoming a democrat is the answer to your complaint about the republicans not being strong enough opposition to them?
WOW! That is some strange thinking.
Neither!! FUMR!! FUJB!!
JFK wasn’t inexperienced after 3 terms as congressman and a term as a senator, he was just anti-American and incompetent.
The 1965 Immigration Act was his goal, and that was the end of America when it passed on his death.
Ted Cruz loves America, is competent, and can handle the complexity of the office, rather than be overwhelmed by it as the playboy JFK was.
We need Conservatives in Congress. We elected R’s and turns out, they are actually the enemy. AT least I have a plan, what is yours? continue to support the R’s and keep getting stabbed in the back?
Your plan is to start voting democrat.
How is that a plan?
More like a catalog of people that care enough about America to NOT vote for a liberal.
“So this is the reason Bush said he was running so early? To scare us all into running to Romney?”
No, I think Bush wants to try and corner the “Chamber of Communists” money. If Romney goes after Bush like he did all the other GOP candidates last time, Bush will be a dead duck, and hopefully collectively they will drain the wallets of the CofC people in the process.
He’s better and more competent than Jeb. That was the question. Take your angry inch somewhere else.
