Florida Girl, 5, Was Alive Before Being Thrown From Bridge: Police
Dad Allegedly Throws 5-Year-Old Daughter Off a Bridge NBC NEWS CHANNEL
The Florida toddler found dead after she was tossed from a St. Petersburg bridge was still alive before the fatal 60-foot plunge, police said Friday based on preliminary evidence. At a news conference following Thursday's horrific act, investigators didn't immediately know whether 5-year-old Phoebe Jonchuck was initially alive, and were awaiting the results of a medical examiner's report. A police officer who witnessed the crime allegedly committed by her father, John Jonchuck Jr. said he may have heard the girl scream but wasn't certain.
Police are still trying to piece together what led Jonchuck, 25, to allegedly take his daughter's life. The girl's mother, Michelle Kerr, said despite Jonchuck's "Jekyll and Hyde" personality and their rocky past relationship, she never imagined he would turn his rage toward Phoebe. "She would always say 'I love you' to him," a teary-eyed Kerr told NBC affiliate WFLA. "She loved her daddy."
Phoebe's body was recovered from the Tampa Bay around 1 a.m. Thursday, an hour after a St. Petersburg police officer said he saw Jonchuck hurl the girl over the railing.

lol...guys....
I was just trying to be tiny weeny compassionate.
I don’t buy into this thinking that someone must be insane just because they committed such a monstrous act. I believe this was an act of pure evil. There are lots of people that may qualify as insane and are on meds but do not seek to harm others. This is why the Bible commands capital punishment for murderers.
I don’t care what drugs he was on or off of. I just want to see the sob killed. The judge ordered him evaluated. I don’t really care if he wet the bed or was abused as a child. The only question should be: Did he or did he not throw the child off the bridge? The evidence and witness established that he did. So at the earliest time he should be taken to the nearest oak tree or light pole and have about 2 feet between his feet and the ground and left for the buzzards, crows, and coyotes to eat. Some people just need killing on general principles.
“Without natural affection”
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; “ 2 Timothy 3:1-4
Can we add ‘gators into the equation? This is Florida, ater all.

Go Gators!
Pat Benetar had something to say a while back. Seems kind of appropriate here. Pardon me but she gives me goosebumps.

Great song, Neil killing it on guitar.
In the meantime, there are a lot of people out there just s couple of missed doses away from being nutso. Every school shooting has involved someone off their meds.
You can react to this one all you want, but preventing the next one might be a better aim.
I suspect that if this was a withdrawal reaction to medication, when the fog clears the guy will take care of it himself.
You are correct. That is why I leave the decision making to cooler heads. It has saved me from myself many times.
Children do have guardian angels:
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven Matthew 18:10
This is what ‘daddy’ can look forward too if all things remain the same,
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Luke 17:2
What kind of f’in monster tosses a little girl over a bridge? God!
My sister’s husband has really bad cancer. And they have a 6 y/o girl who is always with us during family things.
Imagine Christmas, she was with us and her parents weren’t. Her Daddy was in the hospital and Mom was sleeping in a chair next to him. I felt so bad for her. But this is her normal.
Life can be so cruel. Her Daddy is such a good man. He’s only 40 but after years of chemo he looks like he’s 100. He’s the 2nd most generous man after my Father. It made me so sad to see her parentless on Christmas.
Too fast.
He could probably tread water for hours.
Sit and wait.
Maybe whittle something.
Throw him off with a noose 50 feet shorter than the distance to the water. Death would be quick.
I have this thing about kids and critters being hurt.
Too bad nobody will put me in charge of punishments.
If he is convicted and I understanbd there was a police officer eye witness I also say kill the sob. Once their necks start getting snapped other would be “crazies” will start to take note and realize they are not quite as crazy as they thought they were.
Throw this POS off the same bridge with a cinder block ankle bracelet.
