Children do have guardian angels:

What kind of f’in monster tosses a little girl over a bridge? God!
People use this not realizing that it is a metaphor for the believers who must come “as a little child.” There is no truly innocent child, due to original sin. Assuming that there are, eventually ends up pointing accusing fingers at God for being incompetent, if not cruel.
