2 NYPD Officers Shot in Bronx: FDNY

Two NYPD officers have been shot in the Bronx, police say.

It's not clear what led to the shooting on East 184th Street in the Fordham section shortly after 10:30 p.m.

The officers were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to be OK, the NYPD said. 

A law enforcement source said it appears one officer was shot in the back and the other shot in the elbow.

Some of them probably do deserve it. I am no fan of cops getting away with the things you mentioned, but it is most likely the wrong ones taking the punishment. I have a couple of very good friends that are LE, but I also know at least two that I would not let set foot on my property without a fight. One lives about a mile away (I live in a rural area) that has been suspended,and has been indicted this past week for child porn.
