Well, hopefully, they’ll release some heat in the Twin Cities.
To: RBStealth
Much of that extra sunken heat will eventually be belched back into the atmosphere
Whoa there Poindexter, ease up on the sciency talk would ya.

The reason the earth isn't warming up as predicted is because the global warming is getting bottled up in the sea!
It's a creative excuse... I'll give them that much.

Maybe the heat will go down, instead of up, leading to massive volcanic eruptions. That’s the ticket.
To: RBStealth
Maybe, might, could, expected to, set to, potentially....
Too bad they can’t take these models and go back 50 years, plug them in and get results that match what really happened.

I am kind of curious about what kind of bizarre science the guy is using to claim the oceans are collecting heat in preparation of a sudden massive release.

Oh, please. The “the warming is hiding in the oceans” excuse has already been debunked.

Rapidly heating oceans? And I thought we were doomed on account of the gas passed by cattle herds and my old high school buddies.

What scientists discovered in 2014 is that since the turn of the century, oceans have been absorbing more of global warmings heat
1) Which century? Please describe the method used to measure the temperature of the 'oceans'. My BS meter has wound around three times.

Nonsense. They are simply there to promulgate as much tripe as is required to keep themselves in business.

Looking forward to that heat. Midday today at 45 deg. fah. That’s about 20 deg. under our Southern California Inland Empire average I’d say. Forty-five degrees is our night time temperature in the Winter.
Being from SoCal means you are acclimated to eighty degree weather. ANYTHING less is freezing.

Plenty of volcanoes in the oceans. Had a circa 1850 with an intense dialogue on the subject...and it included diagrams.
Why do scientists pretend they are giving us info on something new.
