Too bad they can’t take these models and go back 50 years, plug them in and get results that match what really happened.

Actually, they could do the first part very easily. They don't because they know that the results will show how flawed their models really are.

Maybe, might, could, expected to, set to, potentially.... i got a “b” grade in chemistry that kept me from getting 4.0 never heard those words used in that class.

How does the heat from green house gasses get into the ocean? Long wave radiation is incapable of penetrating more than a couple of millimeters into the ocean. The oceans are heated by short wave radiation, which comes directly from the sun.
