So typical of Obama's military. A fighter wing commander gets fired and the reason for his firing is a secret. One thing is certain, he pissed off somebody. Probably for saying the wrong thing in today's PC military. It will take the US military years to recover from the Obama Regime, if it can ever fully recover.

Reports have been of an Obama- directed very widespread elimination or purge of almost all of the expert experienced military leadership. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can confirm or correct these reports

"My primary focus remains on motivational mission accomplishment, compassionate care of airmen and their families, and the drive to constantly improve and innovate."

Hmmmm...that is not a focus. That is babble. Based on that statement alone I view the Colonel's dismissal with suspicion.

The CIA never recovered from Jimmy Carter.

We should probably hold off on wearing our tin hats. Commanders have been relieved since the beginning of the Republic. I’ve served under some pretty scary commanders and wish they were relieved- and one was. It could easily be a “powdered prince” that got put in a position he was incapable to handling.

I regret this officers loss he sounded good to me but i’m not military. I also think there are a lot of good officers in the military. It’l take more than one Obama to purge them all out. and can they get reinstated by future commanders? Someone mentioned that an an allen west post.

Oh well, Colonel’s pension is not bad, and he’s young enough to find something afterwards. I guess we’ll read more about this at militarycorruption.com. I hope it is not another sexual thing...lately these field grade officers have had a tough time keeping their pants zipped. Of course, when you introduce the romantic element onto the combat team things like that happen.

Another senior leader sacked. The purge of the military continues. How long will they sit by and allow this to go on?

The Gestapo LOVED Stalin —after they’d identified all the really good Soviet generals, all they had to do is put out word they’d been working with the guy, and POOF..!

He would disappear.

Soon ALL the top brass was Zampolit types —strictly political guys who didn’t know a think about the actual battlefield.

When the war started, it was a total catastrophe for the Soviets.

We’re seeing an American version of that, now.
