The suicide of a transgender teen is catching national attention in part because of a suicide note she left behind online.
Leelah Alcorn, 17, of Kings Mills, Ohio, was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on I-71 about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to local media.
Posthumous posts started to appear on her Tumblr page, titled “Lazer Princess,” including her suicide note and a post apologizing to her closest friends.
“My death needs to mean something,” she wrote. “My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide this year. I want someone to look at that number and say ‘that’s f---ed up’ and fix it. Fix society. Please.”
Alcorn's note explains that she has felt like a girl trapped in a boy’s body ever since she was 4. Then she cried tears of joy when she learned what transgender meant at 14.
“After 10 years of confusion I finally understood who I was,” the suicide note reads. “I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong.”

When I was in the Air Force I worked with a guy who admitted to being fooled in Italy. He and another guy picked up two hot chicks at a bar. They were making out when he reached into ‘her’ pants and found a surprise.

By throwing it down upon the sin bearer and believing upon Him alone, forgiveness is found. And making Him Lord gives back life and life worth living again.
The World, the Devil and the Flesh offer these temptations which are better not experienced. Moses said "Choose Life" and that life is found for those that are broken in the forgiving eyes of Christ.
Remember a book called “I’m OK; You’re OK”? It was one of those self-help books from the 70s, and its premise was that there are four ways of looking at the world, a truth table built from the two states and the two populations described in the title:
1) I’m OK; You’re OK
2) I’m OK; You’re not
3) I’m not OK; You are

This was all over Facebook. It’s really being pushed.
It is sad for this person and his family.
But, we have become a nation of juvenilia.
It means that the adults in your life failed you by not getting you the help you needed in your confusion.
Other “meanings” - he was a sacrifice on the altar of leftist deviance.
He is a boy. His mother was not wrong. Maybe she could have handled it better. Now my primary question is who molested this boy and screwed him up forever because I am guessing there was molestation in his past. Where’s daddy poo? Off the property?
If you kill yourself and state ‘it needs to mean something’, it probably doesn’t mean anything. Just sayin’
Oh, it means something for sure. It means society won’t be bothered with your crazyness any longer and won’t have to pay for your abominable life style.
His death does mean something; it means he was selfish for putting his loved ones through this misery, for putting that poor truck driver through the nightmare of reliving this tragedy for the rest of his life. It means that the liberals in this Country have stuck their noses where they don't belong and convinced this kid that his feelings and desires trump the religious guidance and private deliberations his parents tried to have with him.
The next time you hear some do-gooder, self righteous liberal proclaim 'the children belong to all of us' understand that it is not their well-being that is being advocated for; it is the wedge they seek to install between children and their parents because it is exactly this type of damaged child they seek to bring into their demented fold.
