If you listened to what the videographer was saying, you could tell he was a passer-by.

Back in the day when I was that age, some mother or father in that store would have beat my a$$ and then returned me to my parents who would have thanked that person and beat my a$$ again. That’s probably why we didn’t do stuff like that - aside from the fact I wasn’t mentally deranged.

Where’s that pic of the kid holding a sign/card that says “Dad” and all the guys on the lawn running in terror?

Any CPS worker worth her “20 yr old and doesn’t have any kids but knows better than you how to raise yours” salt will tell you it’s illegal to spank.
Even though it isn’t.

I was once told by a prison minister that shepherds would have a lamb that wouldn’t stay with the flock. The shepherd would break the lamb’s leg and then set it. The lamb would learn to stay with the flock.

Back in the day when I was that age, some mother or father in that store would have beat my a$$ and then returned me to my parents That's what I'm thinking but nowadays people are so afraid to intervene, they'll be he ones in jail. I looked at the person who finally intervened (bystander or parent?) he didn't hurt the little sh@t at all but if he wasn't the parent he might be the one in trouble.
Our world has gone insane.
To: ozarkgirl
That's part of the problem. Back then people knew each other and us kids knew that. We now live in a society of strangers and people afraid to intervene. Had that been my kid, I'd be thanking the young man who grabbed my child and asking him if he'd like to stay and watch my kid clean that store.

Did anyone get held liable for the (considerable) damage to the store merchandise? I want closure on the story...kid needs to be placed in some sort of protective custody (w/intense rehabilitive counseling) because he IS a school shooting/knifing/arson spree in the early stages.
In the video a smashed up store...on a school bus (or boys room) a smashed up smaller kid? And the a@@ videoing...he should have to pay some sort of restitution for egging the little terror on. Good on the guy at the end who steps in and corals (and hopefully thru fear of G-d) the monster.

Thats not a little child throwing a tantrum. That child is big enough to know right from wrong and is acting like an entitled SOB (son of Barak) He needs to spend a while in juve thinking about it.

"I watched without volume, was the mother around anywhere?"You should have turned up the audio. You'd be astounded at the stream of unintelligible ebonics streaming out of your speakers. What a disgusting indictment of an educational system that apparently allowed the narrator to get beyond 2nd grade.
Then there's the obvious amusement that he had at watching and filming this incident...
Pray for America.

His mother, aunt and relatives all told the NY Times: “He was always a helpful, good kid. He had just recently graduated high-school and was getting his life together. He had some trouble in the past, but he was really turning a corner. It just doesn’t make sense that he would randomly start a commotion. Something doesn’t add up here.”
To: mware
"Good on the young man who took things in hand and dealt with the kid."Yeah, good on him, but he'll probably have to establish a legal defense fund to defend the lawsuit against him for 'assaulting a minor'.
Good thing he's not a young WHITE man...
