He has been called the “superman pope”, and it would be hard to deny that Pope Francis has had a good December. Cited by President Barack Obama as a key player in the thawing relations between the US and Cuba, the Argentinian pontiff followed that by lecturing his cardinals on the need to clean up Vatican politics. But can Francis achieve a feat that has so far eluded secular powers and inspire decisive action on climate change?
It looks as if he will give it a go. In 2015, the pope will issue a lengthy message on the subject to the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics, give an address to the UN general assembly and call a summit of the world’s main religions.
The reason for such frenetic activity, says Bishop Marcelo Sorondo, chancellor of the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences, is the pope’s wish to directly influence next year’s crucial UN climate meeting in Paris, when countries will try to conclude 20 years of fraught negotiations with a universal commitment to reduce emissions.
“Our academics supported the pope’s initiative to influence next year’s crucial decisions,” Sorondo told Cafod, the Catholic development agency, at a meeting in London. “The idea is to convene a meeting with leaders of the main religions to make all people aware of the state of our climate and the tragedy of social exclusion.”
Following a visit in March to Tacloban, the Philippine city devastated in 2012 by typhoon Haiyan, the pope will publish a rare encyclical on climate change and human ecology. Urging all Catholics to take action on moral and scientific grounds, the document will be sent to the world’s 5,000 Catholic bishops and 400,000 priests, who will distribute it to parishioners.

Man, this is huge! The Pope speaks for God. That means God is telling us to fight global warming! I hope he doesn’t tell us that God wants us to fight universe warming or even galaxy warming!
But, wait. He’s God. Couldn’t he stop global warming if He wanted to? According to what it says in His book there will come a time when He’s going to heat the place up a little.
Yes the Vatican has a definite interest, active role in astronomy.

1.China just said it could put the electric grid of the USA out of existence.
2.13,000 Catholics and Christians recently killed by Muslims in Nigeria.
3.The Ebola outbreak.
4.Catholics and other Christians being tortured and murdered in Muslim countries.
5.Millions of babies being murdered in their mothers wombs.
6.Dangerous and powerful drug cartels moving from Mexico, to all over the world.
7.The Church mortally bleeding of her members to other religions and atheism.
8.ISIS promising to march into Rome and use St. Peter’s as a stable.
9.35 million people are slaves.
10.Millions in forced work camps in China and North Korea.
11.Drug and alcohol abuse totally out of hand.
12.Children being sexually and physically abuse by their step dads.
13.Sex slave industry thriving.
14.Most Catholic men addicted to pornography.
15.Huge national and international debts.
16.Sexually transmitted diseases that can not be cured, like herpes. (1 in 4 youth.)
17.Governments dictating to the Catholic Church in Obamacare.
18.Homosexuals will soon shut down the Catholic Church for not marrying them.
19.Prisons can not be built fast enough. 1% of all Americans are incarcerated.
20.Freedom of religion is rapidly being taken away.
So with these being just a few of the problems in the world, let me add, why on earth does the pope support Obama‘s effort to keep afloat the Cuban Stalinist regime?

I’d like to agree, but....
Everytime (at least once a week) when the Pope goes and says and does something so liberally stupid, we have to doubt the source. We have to believe this can’t possibly be true. This must be another smear against the El Papa.
But facts are stubborn things. If even HALF the stuff reported were lies, then even so - the rest of this stuff means the Pope is a liberal fool.
