You are really over-thinking this. This goes beyond the blacks that you know. Most blacks are not involved in the stupidity, I'll grant you that.

But the remainder that are, embraced a self-destructive culture: and it isn't working for them. They can't even string together two coherent sentences, they don't know their father (it could be one of many), and any foundation that could have been laid to get them out of their hell (military service/job corps), has been pissed away (they can't qualify).

Now that they are grown up and have no direction; many of them have secured their station in life to be far below their hopes and dreams the gangsta culture offered.

It's like a margin call in their own racial Wall Street. They invested in the destructive black culture. Now they are reaping, and boy, are they pissed. They have to blame someone, because accepting responsibility requires humility: and humility is absent in black culture.

THAT is what's going on. The spiritual law of "reaping and sowing" is happening. It isn't more difficult to understand than that.

It’s happening at malls because there’s stuff to grab, and people will not use deadly force to prevent shoplifting.

At schools and churches, they will be perceived as threatening kids and family, with greater likelihood of deadly force in response.

What we are witnessing is the black's spiritual temper tantrum, after having realized they pissed their lives away imitating the rap-inspired thug culture: and now they realize that unless you make it big as a rapper or sports icon, it isn't going to pay the bills.

I believe you are absolutely right. If we could only find a way to channel that frustration in a positive direction it would help.

At my age walking the mall makes me tired and makes my feet hurt, am also an hour from a mall so I shop online and have things delivered to my door most of the time with free shipping. Amazon is the future.

Let me guess: He was just getting his life together, working on his G.E.D., had a budding career in the hip-hop music genre, looking to pay child support as soon as he could find a job, was a good kid, didn’t do nuthin’, they should’ve just shot the gun out of his hand or tased him, etc., etc.

After WWII, we had a Ukranian immigrant move into our apartment house in NYC. Even as a kid, I was interested in history, so I started pumping him as tactfully as possible. (We had a lot of vets who didn't want to talk about their experiences.)

After a while he opened up. He was a Communist partisan and killed quite a few Germans. He quit being a Communist (but kept on killing Germans) after an incident in one village.

The partisans had killed the last German commandant of the garrison there and the Germans just installed another one. This guy must have slipped through the net, because he was a decent and humane man and treated the villagers better than the last guy.

Soon the vilage calmed down and while not fully cooperating with the Germans, they didn't hassle them. Things got quiet. The Communist group our immigrant was in said that that wouldn't do, so they killed the good guy.

Another replacement came in and he was more true to form - executing a few locals in retaliation to prove the point. He soon had the villagers enraged enough that they went back to supporting the Communists and all was well. He said it was then that he realized the Communists weren't for the people, only for their own power.

History repeats - or at least echoes.
