Political correctness. Too afraid to hurt someone’s feelings, truth be damned.
I still don’t see it...
Either the mother or the grandmother of these thugs always come out in the media and proclaim their little angel's nonexistent good qualities. Same with that 18 y.o. in Berkley, Missouri who was shot and killed by a policeman, after he pulled a gun on the cop in the middle of an interview over a convenience store robbery. His momma said he was with his girlfriend that night and couldn't have been involved in such a thing. Well, apparently, the little thug was lying to his momma because there was no girlfriend to be found.
The problem is that smoking a little weed, robbing a convenience store of just some little old Swisher Sweet cigars and pulling a gun on a cop, are considered acceptable behaviors in the neighborHOODS where these thugs are raised. Until that changes, none of what the protestors are chanting about will change.
That is a beautiful Lincoln in that photo.
The “hundreds of black people” part is in the fourth paragraph of the full article. It was originally part of the FR excerpt.
There will be more street savage violence since it allows them to blame their self-inflicted pathologies on Whitey.
Reminds me of Plato’s “Myth of the Cave.” Live in darkness, too painful to see the light.
So they stay in darkness because it is more comfortable to live ignorant. Too painful to see the world as it really is.
Black and white, both lost to the dark of the cave for the rest of their lives.
Watcha mean WE, sister?
I pity the fool. : )
They were rioting in stores and malls way before Al Sharpton arrived on the scene with the whitey cop killin’ excuse. This fighting and acting insane and racist is now a regular thing to expect out of black “teens” in areas where they gather. The stores and malls will close.
Obama has been great for race relations. /s/
I also think there's a reason these outbursts are happening mostly at malls and places of business: it's meant to cause financial damage to merchants engaging in capitalism. That's why it's not taking place at schools or churches.
Of course, the only real effect is likely to be that middle and upper class whites and Asians will increasingly simply shop online (which requires a credit card. Which requires credit.) And fewer retailers will maintain a physical presence. The poor will find themselves with less and less to choose from, and only cheaper, lower-quality goods. The accoutrements of middle and upper class life will become more or less invisible to them.
You are SO right!
More like, "Have a Brawly, Brawly Christmas"
Personally, I'm glad my wife and I retired and moved to rural country to live. We have little to no risk of interaction with these thugs in our daily lives. People might say we are lucky. I prefer to think of it it as by design. The heavy populated urban centers is where all of this violence and protesting is happening. We don't see any protestors out here on the farm protesting mistreatment of our all black Angus beef cattle. :-)

Yeah. Probably it had velvet tassles matching the two-tone interior.
Monroeville Mall is a pit and has been for years. The problems ride the bus “out” to Monroeville from Wilkinsburg, Homewood, Penn Hills. West Mifflin’s Century III Mall has SAME problem, but w/less fanfare (to date). A nice shopping experience can still be had by driving north and visiting Ross Park Mall (no real bus service to the far northern suburbs from the “city” w/o transferring—which is almost like “work”). I’m happy to live in the hinterlands and shop (somewhat safely) at Westmoreland Mall.
My best guess, NONE in the videos will be “easily” identified and this will be forgotten (til the next time).
I am glad you got to a place where you are happy for retirement. : )
