If former Alaska Gov. and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin enters the 2016 presidential election, she will face stiff competition from a wide field of qualified Republican candidates. However, she may face greater challenges from her numerous detractors, especially those in the liberal media whose vitriol towards Palin knows no bounds.

Sarah Palin needs to run.
She needs to gather her supporters, and run.
Talk. Organize. But RUN.
No.
I couldn’t vote for someone who couldn’t finish out her term as Governor.
And someone from AK brings no political heft to the table.
Tez Cruz on the other hands brings that and much more.
I don’t see her running for 2016 anyway, whatever her long term strategy is, I don’t think that is part of it.
Dear Sarah:
Some advice.
1. We love you dearly. But don’t run for President.
2. Endorse Ted Cruz tomorrow.
3. Run against McPain in the primary and send him to the old folks home.
You realize if Cruz runs, he will have served in the Senate the same amount of time that Palin was Governor.
So it’s OK for Cruz to be a “quitter” but not Palin?
If Ted is going to be our nominee, he needs to come out strongly for American jobs.
I am all for Cruz, but he needs to be for American jobs.
The GOP needs to be for American jobs.
Bring back jobs, to America.
Sarah Palin MADE Ted Cruz. If it wasn’t for her, Dewhurst would be Senator.
Is “not really wanting it” somewhere on the list?
I think it’s pretty clear she has no desire or intention to run. She did a huge disservice to conservatives last time out by stringing potential supporters along until months after she should have made an announcement one way or the other, while hinting about running a “different kind of campaign”. It helped prevent conservatives from rallying around a single candidate and let Romney win the nomination much more easily than if she hadn’t. Either way she needs to let people know unambiguously within the next six months.
Also stop repeating this discredited leftist drivel that she “quit.” You know damn well she was being sued into oblivion by Obama operatives, so she had no choice but to step down.
Please go back to DU
The GOP's top priority is to make sure jobs in America don't go to Americans.
Ted Cruz supports unchecked legal immigration and also “a pathway to citizenship.”
BOTH PARTIES are doing that.
America needs to be for Americans.
The GOP needs to stand up. We have sold out American industry.
Bring it back. Bring back jobs. Bring back industry. And stop spending money buying imports.
America now owes nearly 18 TRILLION DOLLARS.
Bring back American industry. Now.
Are you sure you’re not speaking of Marco Rubio?
I am all for Ted Cruz, but he seriously needs to stand strong, and early, for bringing back industry to America.
I agree.
5 Hurdles Facing GOP Presidential Hopeful:
1) A plan
2) Money
3) Conservative’s support
4) Gonads
5) An Obama executive order declaring martial law and canceling elections.
“4. 2008 election: Some conservatives say John McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate cost him the election and gave America Barack Obama.”
I say his pick of Sarah Palin was the reason he got as many votes as he did.
