My impression has been that psychiatrists are often crazier than their patients.
If Dr. Yonkers doesn't like the 2nd Amendment, she probably doesn't like the 1st Amendment, either. (I was thinking of the U.S. Army Improvised Munitions Handbook -- Amazon, $10.58 or available free from the US gov't as a download - which demonstrates how to make guns from readily available materials.) If somehow the US gov't managed to identify and collect all 300,000,000 -to 450,000,000 firearms in the US, making a gun is not rocket science.
