Definitely not a cop hater, but would like to point out that there are several occupations that are far more dangerous than law enforcement.

Well, shame on them.
How about those that believe that the police are behaving in a far too aggressive manner, such as no-knock raids with little backlash! They are acquiring war equipment and using it without regard to why - mostly just to justify its use.
Things have been going in an anti-citizen way for some time now. You can see the difference in policing lately (just read the news). This really needs change.

I have a list of the usual cop hating fools on my profile who I have no time for and they’re no conservatives , but have more in common with the radical far left with drugs, marriage, and cop hating.

Fools are those that refuse to recognize change that others come to accept as fact. Can you really say the the actions of the police have not changed in the last ten years?

Still waiting for rebuttal! Oh well, don’t expect any as it is irrefutable just by the news. I usually expect more from freerepublic on factual analysis which is why I am shocked by some of the responses. Too many here hold a unwavering position one way or another without logical thought. That is a fault!
Sorry, I was off debating on another thread.
When I first became a cop, I was issued a 38 revolver (1978), can you imagine going against the modern day criminals with that weapon. The best way to defeat your enemy is to out weapon them, or better yet ... keep ahead of them.
