How about those that believe that the police are behaving in a far too aggressive manner, such as no-knock raids with little backlash! They are acquiring war equipment and using it without regard to why - mostly just to justify its use.

Things have been going in an anti-citizen way for some time now. You can see the difference in policing lately (just read the news). This really needs change.

Here I am sitting in a patrol car on duty and I have to read this post of yours and wonder just what you have to be afraid of? I have worked twenty years and still can’t figure out what an honest citizen has to worry about if they do nothing wrong. There are to many fish in the sea of crime for me to devote time to an honest man. What was it my grandfather said. a guilty dog usually barks the loudest ? Just what are you afraid of? This was an excellent article and accurately describes our profession.

What are you going to do when we give up on society and turn it over to the thugs you support.. What’s that old saying? And then they came for me and who shall I turn too?

The change you seek is in the people who set the stage for the chaos we see:

The police officer is the handyman of the welfare state. His job is to put his life on the line to plug the social leaks that the sociologists, consultants and social planners who made this mess had not foreseen.
