Even heterosexuals were bed-hopping in this era. A girl could go to a disco, dance with a guy, pick him up, take him home, give him the thrill of his life, and throw him out on the street in the morning.

For those of us who couldn’t dance to save our lives and who lacked the social skills to be a player, it was a sad era. I couldn’t wait for it to end.

Lots of Mom things today...repeat, repeat, repeat. Gotta go retrieve her and the folded laundry in a few. I make the machines work (I kept coming home to “this broke”, “why won’t this turn”, “the knob came off”) and she folds and I carry. She wants to do it. *sigh*
