He [de Blasio] said as much when he proudly informed the world he had warned his own biracial son to beware the cops.
In doing so, he did not sink to Dinkins level in the matter of Kiko Garcia. But in delineating a hostile racial divide between his own family and the police, he did something emotionally abusive to 34,000 people who work for him.
After a fanatic assassinated two cops on Saturday, de Blasio clearly understood he had to do something to calm the waters between himself and the NYPD.
But it was telling that de Blasio could not restrain himself during a press conference he called on Monday to try to set things right with the NYPD reserving his greatest passion for an unplanned defense of anti-cop demonstrators against the media.
So, yes, he has three years to fix things. Problem is, hes Bill de Blasio.
And Bill de Blasio gives every indication that, left to his natural instincts, hell just make things worse.

I think you misunderstand. The media is the propaganda arm of the democrat party. the media and propaganda are the leading edge of the leftist attack on America.
The goal is to destroy all that was and replace it with the utopia of individual equality and freedom to live as you please.
He’s the mayor from hell—for sure he’s not praying to God, our Father.
Just as constitutional conservatives have lost control of the Republican Party, traditional liberals are losing all control of the Democratic Party. Traditional US citizens who believe in what was the American Dream (whatever our ethnicity or religion) aren't viewed by either group as part of what will emerge.
Yeah, I'm being paranoid trying to follow what this is all about. There's just so much stuff going on globally that it's hard to imagine how it can end well.
Bill de Blasio.
A fine example of the Peter Principle.
Good. Three years more should be enough time to teach a few N'Yawkers a pretty bitter lesson to be more careful how they vote in the future.
A minimum of 30% of voters would love to have diblassio become president. That’s what we’re dealing with.
They’re almost there, but the one thing that wasn’t factored into “Escape From New York” was the steep drop in white births and the accompanying trafficking of tens of millions of “replacement Americans”.

Thanks for posting this.
Demographic shifts/trends often have more short term and long term impact on local economies and quality of living in cities than SWAG economic theories from the New York Slimes or DC.
Thanks for another follow the money realities why and how certain insane liberals not only thrive but have impact on America.
“Fox’s Melissa Frances reported on The Kelly File that Al Sharpton not only hosts an MSNBC show, but that:
<><> MSNBC Corporate finances Sharpton’s Ntl Action Network (NAN);
<><>Comcast is also one of Sharpton’s financial backers
<><> MSNBC AND COMCAST are reportedly negotiating to buy Sharpton’s NAN network.”
You’re welcome.
Living a dozen miles west of NYC, more and more areas seem to be different countries altogether. In Palisades Park (on the NJ side of the Hudson River), the town had to pass an ordinance requiring English on signs to help emergency responders; too many of the signs were 100% KOREAN. Just south of me (in Harrison, NJ - between Jersey City and Newark), you would think you’re in South America - mostly Spanish & Portuguese.
Thirty years ago Hollywood didn’t see this coming.
Incredible, and I never heard about these enclaves.
About 5 years ago, a lot of local merchants went on a Hispanic hiring binge. If you called a store or went in, very poor English was maybe the second language.
I went on a one person protest, refusing to talk to someone on the phone or in the store unless they could speak English so I could understand them and vice-versa.
In a short time, I was getting personal phone calls from the owners, many of whom I knew.
I made my self very clear. My only language at age 70 was English. If they didn't hire English speaking people, I wouldn't come to or phone their store. Then, I would let other people know.
In many cases, I would be contacted by the owner. Non of them apologized. One even called me a racist, he closed his business in less than a year. He found out that I wasn't the only one who demanded to be spoke to in English.
My wife was embarrassed at first. After about a year, she did the same. There was a tailoring store, that did good tailoring and also made curtains and drapes. The new young owner, an American Hispanic spoke perfect English, however, his front clerks and phone people didn't. After a very bad tailoring screw up due to the language problem, my wife now uses another tailor. Her new tailor is a beautiful Latin American Hispanic Lady, who speaks perfect English. Most of her business comes from people like my wife, who tell other people to use this lady.
Harrison NJ is where the NYC MLS team has their stadium (the NY Red Bulls); they used to play in Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands, but built a smaller stadium because American soccer isn’t very popular.
In my area you can’t get jobs dealing with the public (customer service, cashiers, bank tellers, telemarketers) unless you speak Spanish or Portuguese (becuase of the de facto amnesty we’ve had here in NJ for decades); never mind 70 - most of our 20 year-olds don’t know sufficient Spanish or Portuguese to get those jobs. It is no accident that reports indicate most new jobs have gone to immigrants; they were trafficked here to replace lost generations of American children, and naturally somebody has to be able to service them as customers. Many Americans have lost their jobs to these newcomers, and nobody speaks for them.
