NEW YORK (AP) — The police killings of unarmed blacks in Ferguson, Missouri, and elsewhere — and the investigations and tumultuous protests they inspired — was the top news story of 2014, according to The Associated Press' annual poll of U.S. editors and news directors.
In a year crowded with dramatic and often wrenching news developments around the world, the No. 2 story was the devastating outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, followed by the conflict in Iraq and Syria fueled by the brutal actions of Islamic State militants.
Among the 85 voters casting ballots, first-place votes were spread among 15 different stories. The Ferguson entry received 22 first-place votes, Ebola 11 and the Islamic State story 12.

The Knockout Game AKA Polar-Bear Hunting
The “knockout game” is one of many names given by American news media to assaults in which one or more assailants attempt to knock out an unsuspecting victim, often with a single sucker punch, all for the amusement of the attackers and their accomplice.
You would think that Chicago could get an honorable mention, considering how many blacks have been shot there — by other blacks.

I don’t mind that issues like Ferguson are top stories for the year.
As long as people knew WHY. If people knew that ObamaHolder was driving this racism. If people knew Shapton and the media were instigating racist behavior among the blacks. If people knew these were manufactored crises that our government is using to tear apart our society. If people knew idiots like DiBlasio and others with “white guilt” now have blood on their hands.
Because blacks killing blacks is old news.
