Many are blaming the murder of two New York City cops on Saturday afternoon on Mayor Bill de Blasio following his recent support for protesters in the city marching in opposition to a grand jury's decision to not indict the police officer who killed Eric Garner.
Hundreds have taken to social media to say that de Blasio has 'blood on his hands' and should 'be charged with murder' after the two men were killed 'execution style' in Brooklyn.
What's more, many feel that de Blasio should not attend the officers' funerals, this after many members of the NYPD signed a petition asking that the Mayor not attend their service should they be killed in the line of duty in light of his recent actions.
This as hundreds of NYPD members turned their backs on de Blasio as he entered a news conference Saturday afternoon.

If these guys were my friends or family I would make it VERY CLEAR to someone high up in the department that the mayor WOULD NOT get in and that there would be a fight, if he tried.
I would also tell the media before the funeral, that the mayor was not welcome and would be physically kept out, violently if needed.

At this point it would not surprise me that Cuomo and other high ranking democRATS make the trip to NYC to tell him he’s done and that he should leave now.

Asking him to resign/leave would mean he's taking responsibility for his actions. Only people with a moral compass do that...they have none...
De Blasio will find a way to deflect the blame, get the attention off him and throw as many people under the bus as possible, after all Marxist are master propagandist...
It would not surprise me at all in a few weeks we start seeing stories about the assassinated officers that put them in a bad light...
Maybe Bubba or Hillary will be the messengers. DeBlasio is a good buddy of both. Heck, Bubba swore him into office. His association with Hil won’t look good for her.
At some point they have to be aware of public sentiment running against them and will have to cut their losses. For now, they are silent, but that may change if there is more chaos in NYC. With the inauguration of the governor for his second term coming in a week, it may become untenable for them to allow di Blasio to continue. Everything is about the agenda to them, and if di Blasio becomes too much of a liability they will give him the boot to save themselves.
I don't doubt that we will see these officer's reputations besmirched in the next few days in an attempt to deflect attention.

Can’t agree more, except I think it will be Sharpton getting the boot....he’s an easy target and quite expendable.... And also he’s a pain in the ass....most of the time....
If it does come to that... Don’t expect Obama to save Sharpton, he will go under the bus so quick your head will spin... Sharpton will have plenty of company....
