Forget those plans by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and other theaters to run Team America: World Police in place of The Interview. The Austin-based chain says that Paramount has now decided not to offer South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stones 2004 satire that focuses on Kim Jong-il, the late father of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Alamo says that the cancellation at its Dallas theater is due to circumstances beyond our control and says it will offer refunds to those who have already bought tickets. Clevelands Capitol Theater also tweeted that Team America has been canceled by Paramount Pictures.

I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part, he’s way better than Ben Affleck.
Total **** bags, F You Paramount!
due to circumstances beyond our control
Uh huh..
Giving refunds for free showings eh?
F you Paramount!
I think the whole country should do private showings and rub Hollywoods nose in it.
Hee Hee.
Transition complete.
America has become a nation of cowards.
I liked two scenes n particular from that movie.
1)Pot bellied pig sings “I’m so ronery”.
2)The realistic depiction of Matt Damon and his enormous stupidity.
The one and only time I saw this movie, there is a certain scene that my Husband and my Son strongly suggested that I not see. I closed my eyes while they skipped over the scene. I never asked what was so disgusting in that scene but I appreciated them for knowing me so well that I wouldn’t be subjected to it....what ever it was.
You were lucky to miss it.
Nope.
If they were following Obama's orders they would have apologized first and then capitulated.
That's the Obama Cuba Strategy.
It’s bad enough we’re sucked into dhimmitude for fear of hurting Muzzie feelings, but now we get juche-tude for fear of irritating a Nork. My country ‘tis of the thee holsters her liberty at the drop of a hat.
Obama’s negotiating strategy can be summarized as, “You can have anything you want, but that’s my final offer.”
Yeah probably be first episode when come back in March sometime coming back in march they are on Chrismas break right now
Need to add Gays and Straights...........
Streaming on Netflix. Watch it like I did last night—just because of this crap.
+1.
One of my all time favorite Hollywood types.
He happily hired Fred Thompson to be in his charming film “Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World”...
But I think his best was “Defending Your Life”. He and Rip Torn and Meryl Streep are amazing. No, it isn’t theologically pure, but it is an encouraging message.
He was also great in “Broadcast News”, “Mother” (with Debbie Reynolds) and “Lost in America”—a forgotten classic that makes fun of our “gimme” culture.
And his film “Real Life” was pretty damn prophetic. Another forgotten film that should be seen.
