anyone who has been to NK knows how dangerous it is and would not have been so stupid to make that movie;

It would have been fine to do it during Bush's tenure. Kim Jong-il knew that Bush was itching for an excuse, any excuse, to remove him.

It they put it online, they may well generate enormous revenue from advertising. At the beginning and during an intermission.

While I understand where you are coming from tGoFP, I do think North Korea is such a pariah nation, that it opens itself up to this type of subject matter.

All the guy has to do is moderate, treat his populace like human beings, and nobody would be creating this sort of media focused on him.

Perhaps it’s a decent way to let the a..h... know what the rest of the world thinks of him.

I don’t think the U. S. is alone in what it thinks of him either. This will sell in other nations as well as in the U. S.

Yes, well if he didn't know, he knows now.

I am not saying no one should criticize him, even with humor. But this is an assassination where they basically explode his head.

North Korea is a closed society, unlike any nation on earth, a sealed fortress with almost zero outside contact, how would you go about getting up close to their leader, who has people killed on his whims?

Have you looked into MORMONism?

I disagree that there is no threat to Jong-un.

Insiders got to Hitler; didn't they?

Romney would have to do a 180 on plenty of things...for me to vote for him.

I doubt that happening....

Yes and that was during a world war. It is unwise to make a movie about assassinating a current world leader unless you want to start a war. In my opinion anyway.

Perhaps you should look it up, too. I did look it up for you. The story is a fictionalized version of real events that happened about 8 years earlier. The target was the leader of France. At the time the book was written, that leader, de Gaulle, was retired. He died before before the book was published of natural causes. Publishers rejected it while de Gaulle was still alive, for various reasons.

I should add that the author was friends with de Gaulle’s body guards where he acquired most of the true to life details

So that is nothing the same.
