Jeb Bush is exploring a 2016 presidential bid.
The former Florida governor said in a post on Facebook Tuesday that over the Thanksgiving holiday there was a lot of discussion about the future of the nation.
As a result of these conversations and thoughtful consideration of the kind of strong leadership I think America needs, I have decided to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States, Mr. Bush said.
Mr. Bush said he plans to establish a Leader PAC next month to help me facilitate conversations with citizens across America to discuss the most critical challenges facing our exceptional nation.
The PACs purpose will be to support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans, he said.

There’s nothing to discuss Bush, YOU and your RINO friends ARE the problem.

“Waste of his time & money. He hasnt got a chance.”
I’m sure his handlers know that and that means there’s another reason for him to run, like controlling who actually gets the GOP nomination by bleeding off votes or he’s been assured he’ll get the nomination.

Bluntly, I will not support Jeb in any primary or in a general election.
To those who would try to stupidly claim non-support of Jeb is the same as support for the dem - KMA.

Why not? Romney too and every other liberal republican you can think of, the more the merrier, let them kill each other off in the primaries, like conservatives usually do.
Yup. And we have to squelch this notion that legacy candidates are 10 feet tall and crush redwoods as they walk. George "the Loser" Romney spawned Willard "Mitt" Romney, the Earl of Loser.
A nice 6% taken out of the hide of Christie and Romney will make the point that we are done with the Bush brand, except maybe in the canned beans aisle of your friendly local grocers.

WOW! Jeb Bush has thrown his sombrero into the ring.
Just his presence means I may have to expand my would/will vote for list to include John Kasich. Even he is better than another Bush.

Welcome! Jeb Bush and his entire family are a class act and not deserving of the derision they get here.
The guy is neither fool nor rookie. He would not be running unless he felt there was a real chance of winning the nomination, and surely he has done sufficient research to know. Moreover, we’re going to get a candidate from the less conservative or two or three wing of the Republican Party, and I would take Jeb Bush in a heartbeat over Romney, for example, or Chris Christie.
This is a marketplace of ideas. I reserve judgment just because it’s early, but surely I would vote for him if he were the party’s nominee and we all benefit from a vigorous debating of the issues.
It’s fine for anyone to render a final judgment on this guy — he has a long track record after all — but the nastiness here is a mistake.
