Monday, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, during an address to the troops, President Obama made a joke that they are like "'Santa in Fatigues," which was received with complete silence, prompting the president to nervously name-drop the military aircraft C-130 to evoke a response.
President Obama said, "We are free and safe and secure over here because you are willing to serve over there," adding "You never stop serving, you never stop giving, you guys are like Santa in fatigues. Although I bet one of those C-130's is a little more efficient then Santa's sleigh."

Not even ONE of those standing behind him reacted to the ‘Santa in Fatigues’ remark.
Of course, what he was saying before that was obvious to them. He sounded like a school master chastising them.

When GW talked to the troops, he didn’t have to repeat things in Jeremiah Wright baptist church triplets with soaring rhetorical flourishes looking at the sky even as his eyeballs were trained on TOTUS.
GW was not perfect, but when he said “Thank You,” it was simple and sincere, received, and everyone got on with business.
This being is not even human.
Grrr.

America should NEVER elect a man to be the Commander and Chief who has never served .
Change the Constitution if necessary ; let’s have 2 chief executives . One who is in charge of the military and foreign affairs and one for strictly domestic matters .
The one in charge of the military and foreign affairs MUST HAVE SERVED (honorably and in command capacity )
But will honor that!..and be the only one bowing
