Monday, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, during an address to the troops, President Obama made a joke that they are like "'Santa in Fatigues," which was received with complete silence, prompting the president to nervously name-drop the military aircraft C-130 to evoke a response.
President Obama said, "We are free and safe and secure over here because you are willing to serve over there," adding "You never stop serving, you never stop giving, you guys are like Santa in fatigues. Although I bet one of those C-130's is a little more efficient then Santa's sleigh."

We all know that 0 is a dim bulb, but his speech-writers are also pretty lame.

Communist operatives and Islamic Jihadists and Homosexuals all seem to lack a decent sense of humor, relying at best on forced, souless merriment. Obama is all three. There are probably exceptions, but I can’t think of any right now.

Obama’s comment is rather telling in that it is precisely how the left views the military e.g. handing out chocolate to children, digging latrines, building hospitals... all on the taxpayer dime.

They were all thinking of how they serve and as they have said, “America is at the mall.” It is a sore spot for them, dumb speech writers. PLUS, their CommunityOrganizer-In-Chief is either on the golf course, cutting their benefits, or on vacation. Has he ever served them? Rhetorical.

By the way C-130 guys at McGuire/Dix if you see some looney lady in her back yard waving as you come home, that’s me. Been quiet lately but I figure it’s wind direction. I used to wave to the Ospreys at New River, stood in awe of the A-10s from now closed Willow Grove, and still run out the door when I hear a helo (not if it’s a hospital or news chopper).
Trust me on this.
Anyone want to bet Obama was furious when he left the stage? My guess is, he’ll find a way to get back at the military for daring to disrespect our Glorious Dear Leader.
I’m sure he instructed the media to find negative stories about our military. But heck, the media doesn’t need instructions from this pig to attack our military.
I would have been at sick call, even if it meant getting a dozen vaccinations/immunizations...no way in hell I would have been in that hangar.
When Obama took "Affirmative Action Joke Telling 101" they were all required to laugh equally at each others jokes
and they all got first Place Blue Ribbons.
That way no one felt more or less competent or equal than the others.
They selflessly protect American lives in an age of incalculable international danger.
So... you know... lower their pay and cut their health benefits while driving crowds of the best out of the military.
Then show up somewhere to regale them with your egotism and self-satisfied bullsh*t and be stupid enough to believe you’re popular.
