Can Carter be defeated?
Everybody knew the bill was going to pass so some RINOs and Dems like Boxer left their reservations. Impossible to read the individual votes with that being the case.
Had the GOP hung together and been no votes it would have forced the Dems to vote FOR all the bankster pork they claim to hate. Naturally McConnell surrendered that battle because he’s happy to give the Dems cover.
Was glad to see Rubio voted Nay, I contacted him to vote such, he still has a very long ways to go towards redemption, as far as I’m concerned he started all this immigration crap and if not for him we would not be where we are today.
Although I was hopeful I did not expect Cruz, Lee and Sessions to succeed, but I applaud their efforts, they are a thorn in the side of all liberal democrat progressive rino communists attempting to take control, and they are getting stronger not weaker as many will claim; they need us to praise their efforts and strengthen their resolve, contact them let them know we appreciate all they are trying to accomplish on behalf of we the people.
CRUZ 2016!
LOL as the ‘Uniparty’ strikes again in soviet Red Hampshire...’Yes’ votes from both Ayotte (”R”) and Shaheen (D).
Again, Rubio voted with Cruz. I'm thinking he learned his lesson after being played on the immigration issue. Another point, both Portman (R) and Brown (Dem) voted nay. It makes me wonder if Boehner has any real strength in OH.
Prediction: When people realize what was just voted in in the name of the budget, those who voted "yes" are going to have serious problems with their voters, both political parties.
I wondered if that was the case...I am taking my sarcasm detector in for repairs this morning.
Carter had no primary challenger. Our Texas district like most Texas districts is very conservative, but Carter not enough people in this district are keeping up with his voting record.
John Carter gets a D from Conservative Review. His votes virtually mirror the vote of John Boehner.
It is obvious that John Carter is setting himself up to be fabulously wealthy as a lobbyist and Washington crony in the way he votes.
Well, I state again, can he be defeated by a Constitutional Conservative who starts now educating the district on his record? Do it hte way Steve Stockman did it, under the radar.
And that’s why this is not so much a fail for Cruz, who could not have expected to win this thing in the senate, but to expose the voters. Same as last yr with obamacare
Look at cornyns vote
VOTERS WHO VOTED FOR REPUBLICANS THIS MIDTERM: "Et tu Boehner?" Referring to how Speaker Boehner betrayed Republican voters with his passage of the recent traitorous spending bill.
BOEHNER: Who is Judas? Why do people keep calling me Judas as I walk down the street? Why did someone recently leave 30 pieces of silver on my doorstep? I only want what is best for America. As my friend Obama likes to say: "God bless America!"
McNuts must have already known the outcome when he voted. Not like McNuts to vote against more gubment!
Shockingly both AZ Senators voted Nay. A little less RINO today than a few days ago?
The GOP is all about excuses. Its what they do, its who they are.
The amazing thing is, it seems to work for them! They manage to fool the base into voting for them over and over again.
Here are the Republicans the Tea Party should target in 2016. The other traitor senators are safe for a while.
Ayotte (R-NH)
Blunt (R-MO)
Boozman (R-AR)
Burr (R-NC)
Coats (R-IN)
Hoeven (R-ND)
Isakson (R-GA)
Kirk (R-IL)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Toomey (R-PA)
Somehow I pray the Tea Party announces there key primary states quickly as possible.
Good list! Richard Burr of NC is a RINO of long-standing.
Yes, and the SC will throw Boehner's amnesty lawsuit out because Congress is supporting amnesty by FUNDING IT.
Same goes for ACA.
Cruz is the best Senator we have had from Texas in my lifetime. The second best was probably Phil Graham and he was a distant second.
I am really going to miss Cruz in the Senate when we elect him President in 2016. I just hope we can fill his seat with someone a hell of a lot better than Cornyn.
