Bill Cosby broke his silence Friday, albeit briefly, to lecture the media on remaining neutral and to say that his wife is standing by him.
Reached at his Massachusetts home, the star declined to address the rape and sex abuse allegations from an ever-growing list of women that now includes supermodel Beverly Johnson.
Instead, Cosby, 77, said that the African-American media for which this reporter often writes should be impartial.
Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind, Cosby said.

i am just trying to get an idea of what type of jury member you would make on an alleged rape trial.
if the girl was dumb enough to (do something with an innocent explanation) then (she won’t get any sympathy from you).
...sounds like a form of blaming the victim to me.
how about this:
she dresses like a slut, and walks around like that. so she deserves whatever she gets.
different words, but same logic.
There's plenty here for two sentences.
>>I am having difficulty even parsing what you write. Good grammar helps understanding and helps lend credibility.
Don't make me come down there and diagram that for you.
Pot, Kettle, Black.
i’m not above an occasional grammar mistake or typo (not to mention keyboard hw/sw bug manifestation), but in that case, i wrote two sentences.
good glasses can help you read and save you the trouble of visiting me to tell me what i already demonstrated that i am aware of and practice.
as for capitalization, on the internet, no one can prove that you are not e.e. cummings.
pffft
LOL
frag, ro, cap.
LOL
The same generation as some of his victims.

Donna Motsinger, 73, claims she was one of the 12 Jane Does who testified against the Cosby Show star in the 2005 civil rape case filed by former Temple University athletics director Andrea Constand. And Motsinger (who claims she was Jane Doe number eight) says she feels like a coward for not having spoken out publically about the alleged abuse before now.
I feel guilty not telling my story, Motsinger told the New York Post from her home. Im a coward over here. Those women are brave. Its the least I can do. I want to tell people so [the victims] cant be bullied, so they cant be discredited.
Motsinger claims she was drugged and raped 43 years ago in 1971 at a jazz club in Sausalito, California.
I understand your reaction based on what the reporter printed. Just remember, he did not issue a ‘public statement’ as implied by the article. He made a comment to this, clearly hostile, reporter. I would not put a high amount of credibility on what she reported.
They are seeking to draw Cosby into a discussion so that they can air a new round of ‘indignant’ attacks.
The litigants desperately need something ‘fresh’ so that they can initiate legal action. Because all of these claims are so long in the tooth that they cannot initiate criminal or civil actions based on them.
They need any Cosby comment so that they can sue for defamation, etc.
The democrats are seeking to distract from their massive election losses and reognite their base.
They are seeking to inflame blacks, hispanics, women, and gays.
Ergo, the ferguson case et al for the blacks
Imigration reform for the hispanics.
False rape claims for the women - Dunham, Rolling Stones, Cosby
Etc. etc. etc.
Is there a more ultimate card for Blacks or Hispanics?
Really really sad.
Bill has had a good life from when he was young. If he has abused that, as it seems he has, what a real tragedy. The guy had so much potential to be a force for good, and God knows the Black community needs men who will stand up and be a force for good.
Now... really sad. And in fact it’s infuriating.
Interesting, you think that each and every rape claim is “false”, each and every one.
I was born in Detroit, raised in Detroit, and for the first 2 years of marriage lived in Detroit...had 6 children but one passed away 10 hours after being born, due to severe birth defects. In my 30âs I went back to school and became a nurse...first hospital I worked at was the city hospital of Pontiac Michigan a few years after the riots. I don’t think that makes me naive...retired from nursing when we moved onto a farm and raised angora goats, royal palm turkeys, wild turkeys, 1 ewe 5 geese various times various amounts of chickens, Ring neck pheasants, Chinese red Golden’s (they are beautiful)the farm house was 100 years old and in great condition. The barns were ancient also...the floor of the hay loft was made with trees that still had the bark on them....5 outbuilding all together Now you know my whole life, didn’t become a country girl until I was 45. I appreciate all that answered me, but I am done. Have a great evening.
I actually lived in LA for a while. It struck me as a different kind of place. My experience there FWIW was that some rules of society that were considered normal elsewhere did not necessarily apply there. To try to determine what is the social norm in LA, it helps to have actually lived in LA.
Personally I do not (for example) try to render judgment about what passes for normal in Detroit, or anywhere else in the midwest, since I have not spent much time in Detroit or in the midwest.
Um, THEY ARE NOT EYE WITNESSES !!!
Geezum people. The country is doomed if this is the level you are operating at.
Interesting, because Cosby has not dignified them with a response.
A lie does not become the truth based on boldness of the liar.
Rubbish !
Their motives are money and notoriety NOW.
they can make their false accusations with impunity knowing that all the evidence has long since been destroyed by the passage of time.
So?
His guilt or innocence rests on his convictions?
Go back to the Democrat Underground where you belong !
Well said.
Well, it s a much better complaint, now is it not.
There is a TIMELY complaint made.
There is physical evidence available.
There is no false complaint about him being ‘too famous’.
I would most probably not convict the man based on this complaintant. He willingly went to this mans hotel toom; he willingly got falling down drunk;
It appears to fall more into the category of regretted sex than into a sexual assault.
His attorneys response seems appropriate.
Stay silent. The issues are dead legally both in criminal and civil court.
Steve H appears to be a troll.
Probably one of the many gloria allread sidekicks trying to drive this issue on social media since they have no case.
