FERGUSON, Missouri A federal judge ruled Thursday that police can no longer use tear gas on protesters without declaring an illegal assembly, giving them fair warning and time to vacate the area.

It takes 10 seconds to declare an illegal assembly plus another 30 seconds to demand the area be cleared. After which guns will blaze, but no gas.

The police treating them differently them other large crowds. You bet. Yes, because they are there to riot, loot, and burn. Not like a large crowd at a Thanksgiving parade.

The judge will come back and claim 30 seconds wasn’t enough time for them to leave the area. Six, twelve, 36 hours might not be fair, either.
