Rep. Hank Johnson, Georgia Democrat, said black people like retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are trying to tap into the ignorance of people who have been whipped into a frenzy, like a lynch mob.
Mr. Johnson was speaking on Michael Smerconishs radio show about President Obama and opposition that hes faced since winning election.
I support the president, I believe hes done as much as is humanly possible to advance the cause of justice and prosperity and freedom for all people, not just blacks, and not just here in America, but across the world. I think he has changed the paradigm of American foreign policy, Mr. Johnson said in comments first flagged by Buzzfeed. But its unfortunate that everything he does tends to pick up opposition from his political enemies, and it has become more than just political its personal enemies.
And so, to the extent that we have African Americans trying to tap into that vein of ignorance, African Americans like Dr. Ben Carson, who is a very smart, well-educated man and knows exactly what hes doing, when we have blacks like that trying to tap into the ignorance of people who have been whipped into a frenzy, like a lynch mob, and you go to try to garner support from those folks, I think its very disappointing that we would have that kind of political discourse going on in this country, said Mr. Johnson, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Oh yeah. And Johnson is one whose supporters are prototypical Gruber voters - those susceptible to the big pervasive lie.
Watching the poor general in the “guam will capsize” video, should be a training video for class and restraint, I would not have been able to restrain myself
I guess that wouldn’t be anything like what Al, Jesse and the rest of the race batters are doing?
My fear is that the whole Congressional Black Caucus will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize
Hey Hank!
Jon Grubber has that market cornered!
Hank isn’t qualified to think about Ben Carson, let alone disparage him. Hank is pretty much good at one thing - bending over backwards trying to sound erudite in an effort to mask his cretinous mentation.
Odd, if a Republican said this about an African America, there would be race riots, law suits, demands for apologies, etc.
“.. not just here in America, but across the world.”
I don’t think he was elected president of the world and therefore has little responsibility in that arena.
Yes. A statement on ignorance from the Guam tipping guy.
smh
Is that the same Hank Johnson who was recently rapping on the House floor?
What a shining jewel of colossal ignorance, Hank Johnson is.
Guam will capsize!
I would have said: Hope
Guam flipped over, but only for second. Everybody got wet. They thought it was raining.
And Johnson keeps the ignorant on the DNC plantation for his white commie ‘RAT massas.
Hank Johnson grew up in an area so poor they didn’t even have any cows.
Poor deprived kids like Hank couldn’t go cow tipping so they went island tipping in the swamps.
Dr. Carson spoke at my school around the time of the ObamaCare debate. The open-minded faculty were not happy once he started going after Dear Leader and praised America for being a great country.
And let’s not forget the helium shortage! What will children do without their beloved helium balloons?
And how will comedians be able to get that funny high voice without helium?
And what is Guam capsizes?
Ohhhhh the Humanity!
