It’s going OK. My brother and his family are heading up to Bartlesville to visit his sister-in-law. They’re stopping by my house Thursday night for a brief visit before heading up there Friday.

Woo-Hoo Beachie, we made it to Humpday again!

I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, usually gift cards.

Weather has been mild and wet; you don't have to shovel rain.

That's all from me, how's things your way; shopping all done? Are you a Christmas person or do you fake it?

LOL, that's a good way to put it. I probably lean more toward the faking it now-a-days. How about you?

All done with cards, just have to get stamps and dropping them in the post office. Shopping is done (online of course) and waiting for deliveries. Still have to get the tree up and decorated.

We have sunshine this morning, and it'll be very windy today.

When my kids were little Christmas was much more exciting just in the fact that you tend to feed off of the childhood enthusiasm for Christmas they have.

Nowadays it's get a couple of gift cards and call it good :-)

The true meaning of CHRISTmas still excites me though!

We did the same thing! Our kitchen in then old house would get so hot till we switched to CFLs.

But since LEDs have come down so far in price and offer warm white at 2700°K we've switched almost entirely to them. They are one 10th the wattage and last 20 years burn time so you don't have to change them for the rest of your life.
