One of the news reports late tonight stated that the Governor was afraid of a "Kent State" incident, and lives were more important than property. I'm not buying it. Gov. Nixon has been and EPIC FAILURE.

The article mentions nearby Clayton - FYI - that's the county seat, and a very upscale part of St. Louis County.

I’d bet dimes to donuts that someone had some serious information that would have ended the Governor’s political career, and he decided to take his chances.

Let’s see now. IIRC there were articles about a whole bunch of DHS showing up in the area taking up hotel rooms and parking places. Yet nobody has seen them actually on scene or reported about the workers being there? Which brings up the question just where are the outsider inciters/protesters coming from? That might answer why the governor will not use the NG’s. Government agencies won’t turn on each other. I believe many of the demonstrations nation wide are being directed or fueled out of DC federal offices.

Nixon won’t explain who dropped the ball on the Water Patrol’s merger with the Highway Patrol. Three years after he headlined this initiative, none of the Patrol higher ups have had water training.
Where the heck is the news media ?

The democrat party counts on made up outrage and union organized violence to spark their next round of phony talking points. The war on women has run it’s course and actually started to hurt them....so the women go under the buss and the war on blacks by police come out. The National guard was kept on the sidelines because the democrats need the evening news to be filled by protesters and looting.

Governors govern. What a miserable failure. He could have done a lot more to control the looting and rioting that destroyed the property and lives of law-abiding, hard-working citizens.

Wonder why the occupants didn't shhot the arsonists. Hannity had the owner of an insurance agency on. He said that the rioters threw Molotov cocktails into the floor above his office and that those upstairs put out the fires.

That's attempted murder. You are still allowed to defend yourself.

In the Katrina episode at Ferguson, the school busses were played by the National Guard

There were 700 NG actually deployed to 100 different sites to answer phones etc while the cops were out standing on the streets

Don't know what the motivation on Nixon's part to not send the National Guard was but in the aftermath of the riots we have learned that it is the intent of President Obama and Eric Holder to turn the Mike Brown affair into two separate national movements.

One movement is professional community organizer organized National Protest movement led and trained by Holder DOJ Community Outreach Officers, professional Communist and Anarchist agitators and members of the New Black Panther movement.

On the Government side , Holder is using the Mike Brown protests to mobilize a national crusade to enforce a federal power play on state and local police departments.

Obama and Holder wanted riots to push this two track agenda
