With conservatives working themselves up into cries of rage and betrayal over the GOP leaderships emerging scheme to avoid a government shutdown, it seems increasingly likely that House Republican leaders may need Democratic votes to pass something that funds the government for the next year. The question now: How will Democrats respond?
For now, Democratic leadership aides signal, they are content to let Speaker John Boehner twist in the wind. In other words: This is your problem; you deal with it.
The emerging House GOP plan is to hold a vote to condemn President Obamas executive action, to allow conservatives to vent. Then Republicans will try to pass year-long funding for most of the government, except the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees immigration enforcement. The DHS would be funded through only February, at which point Republicans could try to defund Obamas action.
Conservatives egged on by the Three Amigos, Ted Cruz, Steve King, and Michele Bachmann say this isnt good enough, so passage of the bill funding the government remains in doubt. Indeed, GOP leaders have reportedly reached out to Democratic leaders to see if Dems would help pass it. Nancy Pelosi responded by declining to answer, saying only: Its immature. They should make a decision that this is what we need to do to keep the government open.

Yeah...we’re all going to forget everything.
The GOP really is the stupid party....as if Pelosi would come to the Republicans if the roles were reversed.
Yeah—That attitude has worked out quite well for President Romney.
Wait . . .
They are idiots aren’t they?
Agreed. These pubbie fatcats are deaf, dumb and blind not only to the needs of the country but to their own arrogance and corruption. It is time to put these fools down, hard.
These RINO’s had better wake up and realize that they can be voted out of office just as fast as they got in.
If I were them I wouldn’t take that gamble. They had better not stab us in the back again.
I came out of the independent conservative wilderness to vote Repulican. A lot of good that did. Their talk is cheap. Their actions are calculated and self serving. Do not put your trust in princes or mortal men who cannot save...the Bible wisely counsels

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), has set up an active war room dedicated to undermining Obama's plans on immigration, and is next in line to chair the Budget Committee. From that perch, he would have the power to set spending parameters that undermine the president's moves.

I guess Rand means these "natural constituents":
Spanish-Language Campaign Ad Calls Tea Party "Radical Terrorists"
Breitbart ^ | Nov. 2, 2014 | Sarah Rumpf / FR Posted by River Hawk
AUSTIN, Texas -- The Bexar County Democratic Party launched a controversial Spanish-language ad during the final week before the November 4 elections, calling tea party Republicans "radical terrorists."
The Democrat campaign ad begins showing the American and Mexican flags, with a male narrator saying in Spanish that the flags represent "friendship, liberty, opportunity, and justice," then showing a Gadsden flag with its famous "Don't Tread on Me" motto. The Gadsden flag, which the ad calls "muy peligrosa," or "very dangerous," was designed in 1775 during the American Revolution and has since been adopted as a symbol by various libertarian and tea party groups.
The Democrat campaign ad then proceeds to call tea party Republicans "radical terrorists" while showing images of militia members holding guns and wearing camouflage, threatening "our children and families with violence and firearms," urging viewers to "¡Voto Demócrata!"
The full text of the ad, in English: "These two flags represent friendship, liberty, opportunity and justice. This flag is very dangerous. It is the flag of the Republicans of the Tea Party. They are radical terrorists who want to take matters into their own hands, affecting our children and families with violence and firearms on the border and in our cities.
This Tuesday, November 4th, is the day of the election and its the only time we can make our voice count. For our common good, Vote Democrat!"
Bexar County Democratic Party Chairman Manuel Medina admitted his organization was responsible for the ad, and claimed credit himself for creating it.
Medina went even further in an interview with the San Antonio Express-News, saying, "The tea party is not a political party. They're a terrorist organization."
The Express-News also reported that the ad was running on Univision, paid for by a $25,000 donation from personal injury attorney Thonas J. Henry. (Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
It’s their arrogance that maddens me the most.
We put them in office, they need to do what we tell them (rhetorical).
Guess they feel they’re untouchable election wise.
That’s a bet they’ll lose.
The GOP party needs to crash and burn.
I can only speak for myself, and I know I won’t. Ever forget.
Again? When have they stopped?
My personal belief is neither party wants to own 2016. All you have to do is look at the debt run up in six short years to figure out this is not going to end well. Neither party wants to cut spending or agencies or “programs”. Neither party has done squat about the NSA spying on us, the IRS turning into a political wing or the EPA trying every move in the book to subjugate us. Both parties want to supplant us as the voting base by granting illegal citizenship to millions of foreigners. Both parties are fine trashing what was the best health care system in the world. DC has not represented “us”, Americans for many, many years.
The princes and mortal men exist as leaders however and must be dealt with. They are the reality
But they keep getting elected/reelected
Saw that the other day, and was outraged.

Every day, in every way, it becomes clearer and clearer...it truly is Washington vs The Rest Of Us.
I used to think that the Republican leadership was just spineless. I think really, they are on the same team as the Democrats. The Democrats dream of an expanded underclass of aliens who will eventualy get the vote. The Republicans dream of millions of foreigners on the payroll, who will depress wages. The Republicans must know that this influx of people will almost all vote Democrat. I think the Republican leaders see themsevles in charge of a minority party - they will offer to fine tune whatever the Democrats do (I almost said, what the Democrats make law, but our system isn’t governed by laws anymore).
The East Germans had no way of fighting their Communist masters, so when the tipping point came, their simply didn’t go to work. Many simply sat in the street.
Conservatives who have no chance of saving the country through the Republican Party may decide to sit the next election out, which will doom the changes of yet another GOPe “moderate” candidate in 2016.
