On the same day one grand jury decided not to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who was killed after being put in a chokehold last July, a different jury did indict 22-year-old Ramsey Orta, the man who captured Garner's death on camera. Orta was charged with weapon possession after being arrested on Aug. 2, less than one month after taping Garner's confrontation with police.

His wife was charged in an alleged assault between her and another female.

The headline makes it sound like his arrest was related to the filming.

It wasn’t. So why report it?

LOL!! "Arrested 27 times since 2009 for offenses...from fare evasion and marijuana possession to a robbery in May. Also busted twice for gun possession, and in January 2013 he was charged with menacing with a gun.

At the time of the arrest he stated they didn't find nothing on him and those searching him he told him:

It was interesting hearing them talk about some of the "garbage" they are dealing with on a daily. The public really is't aware of the likes of the people they contend with.
