Two hours after its creation, passersby destroyed an art installment reacting to the event at Ferguson, which was made by two UW students at the George L. Mosse Humanities Building Tuesday evening.
The piece featured a black hooded sweatshirt hung upside-down from a walkway on the building with the words, Black be nimble, black be quick, black be dead white magic trick, written on the sidewalk in dark-colored duct tape.

And they were, only they probably thought the graffiti was anti-black.
Wish I’d heard about it, it wouldn’t have taken me 2 hours to obliterate it.
Looks like Batman hanging there.
I see. Grafitti = Art Installment.
Just like in Ferguson when trash on the streets = Michael Brown Memorial?
“Art installment.” Ha ha ha! I love it! I see multiple uses for this euphemism!
as in
Mrs. Tick: “HEY! You forgot to flush! AGAIN!!!!”
Me: “Calm down, honey... it’s an art installment.”
Truly dim. Present an offensive racist message, offend decent people and they will take it apart.

Slipping on my devil’s advocate robes here - what about people who remove displays of tiny white crosses because they are offended?
At a university, people should be able to tolerate viewpoints that offend them, within reasonable limits, and I do think this “installation” falls within those limits.
Since the display looked so very unofficial and without imprimatur, I am guessing that some passerby misconstrued who was being offended, and tidied up.
The biggest race problem the Left has is how little white on black race problems there really are anymore. Their solution is to use art and education as an excuse to whip up, amplify, exaggerate and lie about white on black race problems by literally creating the impression of what largely no longer exists, and pouring gasoline on it and lighting it on fire when it does.
Because, of course, the real race problem is black on white, fueled by the permanent victim status required of Blacks to live for free on the Democrat handout plantation.
Cosby’s confusion is telling Blacks to take responsibility for their lives and stop blaming whitey, while he still supports the general racism bandwagon of the Left. Maybe he thought he could justify both together, but the Left is well aware that the former destroys the latter, and so he had to be silenced.
Yes, it is important that black bodies are disposed into a six foot deep hole in the ground just like everyone else be they white, brown, red or purple.
yeah, this does look like something a white supremacist group might do. how can these people be so self loathing that they can’t even do satire well.
>> what about people who remove displays of tiny white crosses because they are offended?
I see your point, but usually if not always, the folks creating the white-cross displays do so with permission, and in a place set aside for such displays.
As far as I know, there are exactly ZERO white cross displays that were installed in such a way as to deface a public place. If you know otherwise, please enlighten me.
Therefore, I don’t agree with the moral equivalence you’re trying to sell.
‘Cause he didn’t duck..
He ran out of luck...you protesters suck
If that is “art”, then I just left a masterpiece in the toilet.
Removing it would also, therefore, be flash freelance expression in a public space, would it not?
I'm a little iffy about this, to be sure.
I remember once (30 years ago), some students had erected (correc verb) a huge 6-foot snow penis in their fraternity front yars, right in the Brookline/CUA of DC neighborhood where there are also seminaries and the Dominican House of Studies. One night I took 2 kettles of boiling water and melted it down.
I suppose I could have named the newly shape-shifted art work, "Detumescence."
:o)
LOL!
Yeah, Big Mike got his hat
Find out where it’s at
And it’s not jackin’ po po in his ride
Even if you do got a THC level high enough to make Shamu hallucinate
This is “art”?
Ferguson protest art at UW dismantled within 2 hours.
