Conservatives could do well in ‘16.. if we don’t have a wimpy moderate forced upon us at the top of the ticket.

It has always bothered me that politicians remain in office till their dying day instead of going out and living under the laws they passed.

But, now, I see that God has been in control all along. He's allowed these people to remain in power so we can be rid of them and replace them en masse.

Hopefully with people more amenable to securing the blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Reid, who turns 75 in a week
And Leaky Leahy turns 74, Mikulski and McLame are 78... Hey, wait a minute! Didn't an "architct" of 0-care, Ezekiel Emanuel brother of Rahmbo the ballerina say We'd be better off if we all croaked at 75?. So why don't these distinguished, learned elitists set an example for the rest of of unsophisticated, ignernt rubes?

Reid seems a likely retirement. Who knows about Boxer. She may be so addicted to taking money for doing nothing, she’ll stick around for another six. Unless she’s challenged in a Democratic primary, she’ll coast to re-election.

Manchin is interesting. If he goes back home to W.Va, I would think the Senate seat would almost surely go Republican.

The Democrat Party will continue its massive decline as long as it allows Obama to continue as POTUS!!! Obama is destroying the nation and he is destroying the Democrat Party with it!!! If I were a Democrat....I’s be running down to the White House and demanding that Obama resign immediately...and if not the Democrat Party should move to impeach hi.

Pubbies....do nothing to impeach Obama...let Obama destroy, both himself and the Democrat Party!!! Joe Manchin...dummy that you are...if you had one iota of a brain...you switch to the Republican Party, tomorrow morning. Manchin....DUMMY with a capitol “D”!!!

I remember as a 13-year-old going to Marin County Board of Supervisors meetings with my mother. Boxer was on the Board at the time, and even then I could tell she was pretty much a non-entity. Not so much a radical Leftist or any sort of activist, just...an empty shell.

It has been amazing to watch the Powers That Be elevate her as a mouthpiece over the years. She really had no business on the Board, much less getting elected to the House and Senate, but having a wealthy and well-connected attorney as a husband helped her meet the right people, who apparently saw value in turning her into a feminist icon - but one who always remembered her job was to reward the right special interests.

I’ll vote against McCain if he runs again, but it won’t matter. Only retirement or death will pry him out of that seat.

If she retires I guess I’ll have to stop using the term, Dumber than a Box of Barbara Boxers.

Judging by things here in CA, she will just be replaced with another Idiot anyway.

Duncan Hunter Jr. should run in 2016 for the Senate. He's got name recognition, is a solid conservative, and could bring out the conservative vote in CA.

The only way to win blue hell-holes like CA is to run fearlessly as a conservative, and let the chips fall where they be.

In addition whoever the democrat candidate is that person will be obama 3.0 they are all on record supporting obamacare, amnesty, tolerance of islam, and all of obama’s scandals and lawlessness, although they may deny, deny, deny the record stands; and if Cruz is candidate he will not let their denials go unchallenged.

Why anyone wants to stay in Congress more than one term, is beyond me.

Allow me 4 years of legal insider trading and you can vote for my replacement, for all I care.

And I promise never to get involved with politics during my term. I will just vote “Present” whenever my opinion is requested.

There comes a time to pack it in. A good leader would have spent some time grooming a successor. Why am I not seeing that here, from either the D’s or the R’s ?

There’s an incalculable vanity to being a Member of Congress that is hard to describe, and apparently, harder still to relinquish gracefully.

Republicans won’t pick up the California seat. And I don’t see how the Democrats can retain the West Virginia seat of Manchin walks away.
