Police questioned group members early in the week and allowed them to stay. But Saturday, after an inquiry by a reporter, St. Louis County Police officers ordered the Oath Keepers to leave the rooftops.
Threatened with arrest for operating without a license, the volunteers argued but eventually left their positions early Saturday morning, Rhodes said.
"We are going to go back as protesters," Rhodes said Saturday afternoon.
Rhodes, who said he is Mexican-American, stressed that Oath Keepers is not anti-government. He said the group volunteers pulling rooftop security in Ferguson were current or former government employees and first responders, many who have intense military, police and EMS training.
We thought they were going to do it right this time, Rhodes said of government response to the grand jury decision released Monday night in the Darren Wilson case. But when Monday rolled around and they didnt park the National Guard at these businesses, thats when we said we have got to do something.
Historically, the government almost always fails to protect people, he added.

License? License for what? To protect private property?
Feds or Oathkeepers?
Remember the threat of a Drone strike sent them running at the Bundy Ranch.
Card has license on one side,
Other side has ‘Ability to Operate without License’
Of course they don’t want real patriots doing their jobs.
They talked a good game at the Bundy Ranch then folded when a Drone was mentioned,,,
maybe all that ex this and ex that means they still can’t buck The Man.
Disappointing.
Well I was gonna say.....I would’ve made them arrest me....with my attorney on speed dial. I don’t think I would’ve just tucked tail and left after going there.
BTTT!
You need a license to stand armed on a rooftop? Where’s the NRA?
Funny how the Ferguson PTB saw fit to post a gauntlet of riot-gear attired police around their own station and the firehouse ... But for the rest of us insignificant peasants ... too bad ... Oh, and do not even attempt to organize your own defensive perimeter - or we’ll arrest you, for your refusal to be victimized by the jackasses “in charge” of doing absolutely nothing to “protect and serve you,” the taxpayer.
Ironic, is it not? This all began because a cop DEFENDED his person and property against a thug attacking him ... And most of America - excepting the worthless knuckle-dragging black sh*t heads in Ferguson - sided with the police ... Now, the cops stab the same citizens in the back, all for want of our own protection.
Drones? Drones need to be parked on a ramp, or else hangared and serviced somewhere. They are easy targets in that circumstance - if you get my drift. I’ll bet Google maps can pinpoint every Drone operating facility - the rest is up to those who know how to put such machinery out of business. There is nothing more easy to do than to sabotage a flying craft. Redundancy CAN be defeated.

Guys in above link were ultimately left alone by the cops.
Why were the cops rousting the oath keepers?
Volunteers don't have any revenue. Some neighbor can't drop by and help out? By this reasoning anyone helping to clean up trash and rubble needs a license. More Stupidity.
Lethal force can’t be used by an individual to protect property - just for self defense. Even then you have to be in fear for your life or the life of others.
LEOs get more leeway, but even then, the better be in fear for their life - look at Officer Wilson.
“Lethal force cant be used by an individual to protect property”
which is bogus and needs to change
The Post Disgrace is that kind of Newspaper. We used to have the Globe, now the Disgrace is all we have. So I don’t even get a paper, just use the internet.
