Is that related to “voting from the rooftops?”
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Historically, the government almost always fails to protect people, he added. The only thing wrong with this statement is the inclusion of the word "almost." Only people protect people and that is why the 2nd Amendment is so important. If you can't protect it, you don't own it. That applies first and foremost to your body, your life support system.

Puzzled and alarmed protesters have wondered, too...
Their constitutional right to riot and steal are being violated!

Awesome. Those that rely on the state, die by the state. Imagine if there were oath keepers on the roof tops as Hitler’s brown shirts were trying to take over. Would have saved the lives of millions.

Maybe this reporter should be more concerned about who is attacking these shops than who is defending them.

The local station interviewed one of these men. He said they had less lethal options such as bean bag rounds and other methods that he would for obvious reasons not discuss.
He said they are there to provide some security to the small businesses that can't afford to hire private security. The large businesses in and around Ferguson have hired armed security forces.
The news reported that there is an Oath-keepers Chapter in the St. Louis area, but the group has men from lots of different states. From my impression of the guy that they interviewed, they won't just be standing by and watching people smash windows, loot, and burn.

If the thugs are alarmed it must be working.
