Missouri Governor Jay Nixon adamantly denies that the White House pressured him to resist sending in the National Guard in response to violent protesters unhappy with the Michael Brown shooting decision. It is clear, however, that Nixon has been in close contact with President Obama's senior advisor Valerie Jarrett as the chaotic situation unfolded. According to the White House, Jarrett spoke with Nixon the first night of the protests as well as the morning after. Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz confirmed that Jarrett received updates from Nixon, promising to stay in close touch as the situation continued. Valerie spoke to Governor Nixon both last night and this morning, and has been briefing the President on an ongoing basis since last night, Schultz said, speaking to reporters on Air Force One. And in each of those conversations with Governor Nixon, Valerie has pledged to stay in close coordination with the Governor in making sure that hes getting the support he needs from the federal government. Schultz refused to say whether or not President Obama spoke on the phone with anyone about the protests sweeping the nation, but revealed that White House staff spoke with mayors across the country to coordinate a proper response. Jarrett and Attorney General Eric Holder also spoke with civil rights leaders the first night of the protests, continuing their close coordination as the grand jury decision approached. As you know, we've been working closely with them for the past few months leading up to this point to make sure that responses to this moment would be appropriate and constructive, Schultz said.

Do not *EVER* forget, that at the end of the day, she is nothing more than the absolute worst of Chicago's slumlords. Extreme doubt obtains, in *my* mind, at least, that she could even spell the word "compassion" let alone is possessed of the merest iota of the quality...

Nixon had hours, if not days, of notice of the announcement. Plenty of time to get the Guard into place and protect Ferguson
You are behind the curve, the reason the La cabal waited was to try to force W to enact the feds w/o state permission led by Bill and Hillary
Why ?
To impeach him
Read W’s book
Lt. Gov of MO, Peter Kinder is looking into getting all e-mails between Nixon’s office and the WH.
Nixon had to pull the trigger to bring in the Guard support teams. I watched the guards arrival live on TV after about 4 hours of watching the town burn. Don’t know when he ordered them in though. Day late and a dollar short.
Or maybe a dead fish.
Great minds think alike. :-)
LOL. Thanks oh great mind.LOL

Sharpton a key advisor to Obama on Ferguson (reported back directly to Valerie Jarrett)
NY Post ^ | August 22, 2014 | Pat Bailey
EXCERPT
While in Ferguson, Sharpton met with the Brown family and reported back directly to Valerie Jarrett, one of Obamas closest aides.
Sharpton was directed to find out specific information including what the Brown family wanted from the White House, Politico reports.
The veteran activist, who is also leading Saturdays march on Staten Island against police brutality in New York, even suggested Jarrett turn up the heat on Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, a Democrat, and appoint a special prosecutor to replace St. Louis prosecutor Bob McCulloch in the Brown case.
What difference does it make?
They didn’t even bring hot dogs or marshmallows.
There is that plausible deniability thing again.
“I just learned about it on CNN”
Ferguson is obammy.
That is a discouraging report and I hope it is not true.
One of my colleagues had the troopers noticed up for depositions, but the troopers called to say they couldn’t because they had been called to Ferguson............was the Missouri State Highway Patrol present?
And after the GJ didn’t charge Wilson she let it burn as payback. These are very sick people in the WH.
Pray America is waking
one article said the DA was more or less forced to release the verdict early because of leaks to the press would exacerbate the violence.
Remember the traffic cones in NJ and does anyone think the media will even report this?
