Missouri Governor Jay Nixon adamantly denies that the White House pressured him to resist sending in the National Guard in response to violent protesters unhappy with the Michael Brown shooting decision. It is clear, however, that Nixon has been in close contact with President Obama's senior advisor Valerie Jarrett as the chaotic situation unfolded. According to the White House, Jarrett spoke with Nixon the first night of the protests as well as the morning after. Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz confirmed that Jarrett received “updates” from Nixon, “promising to stay in close touch” as the situation continued. “Valerie spoke to Governor Nixon both last night and this morning, and has been briefing the President on an ongoing basis since last night,” Schultz said, speaking to reporters on Air Force One. “And in each of those conversations with Governor Nixon, Valerie has pledged to stay in close coordination with the Governor in making sure that he’s getting the support he needs from the federal government.” Schultz refused to say whether or not President Obama spoke on the phone with anyone about the protests sweeping the nation, but revealed that White House staff spoke with mayors across the country to coordinate a proper response. Jarrett and Attorney General Eric Holder also spoke with civil rights leaders the first night of the protests, continuing their close coordination as the grand jury decision approached. “As you know, we've been working closely with them for the past few months leading up to this point to make sure that responses to this moment would be appropriate and constructive,” Schultz said.

But the Mayor of Ferguson and the National Guard couldn’t get in touch with him. Unreal.
The Left, the Democrats, the Socialist Democrats, Democrat Marxists, whatever you want to call them want rioting. THEY created this mess for the purpose of rioting. They created this mess so they could be the hero’s we the people scream to for action to stop the mess they created.
THIS is how they work. Create a mess, create a crisis, and then resolve the crisis....WHY!?....Because they want we the people to beg them for more government intervention to stop the outlaws the outlaws created. They want us to beg for BIG government. Their BIG government.
The mayor of Ferguson couldn’t reach Nixon when things started going bad...
I still want to know who chose the time of the announcement... the only worse time would have been Saturday night at 8pm... And who kept the National guard out? Was that Nixon too?

So the puppet’s master arises. Time for the Republicans to get some balls and subpoena her to appear before a congressional committee investigating the Ferguson riots.
Don’t know whether she could claim an type of Executive Immunity on this one.
In fact, time for the Repubs to establish a “House Select Committee on the Ferguson Riots” and put a real bulldog rep. in charge of it, not that wimp Rogers if Benghazi coverup.
Obama said anger over the grand jury no bill was “understandable”.
It’s not understandable. At all. Any one who punches a cop, tries to take his gun, and then charges the cop is going to get shot. Black, white, purple, green... doesn’t matter. Yet these “understandably angry protestors” believe that the shooting was racially motivated, as if, had Michael Brown been white, the cop would have let himself be tackled, beaten, his gun taken, and then killed with his own gun. These people are idiots.
Obama endorsed this anger, he may very well have given a stand-down order.
I read somewhere on the internet regarding the lack of support from Nixon re: the NG... the guard standing down on the first night allowed the rioters to vent their frustration and allowed the state to not get involved with another entanglement where they could be labeled “racist”. The second night, they could uphold the law and go from there.
However, I heard Giuliana speak and he said when he was governor of NY he had a zero tolerance policy. IOW, you can protest all you want, but once a rock is thrown you will be arrested.
That should have been the line drawn on the cement in Ferguson. Otherwise, you get what we got... people getting increasingly agitated, throwing a rock, then turning over a police car, then looting, then molotov cocktails which result in burning.
If jarred and zero thought holding back would ease tensions, they were grossly wrong. In reality, they WANTED a riot and burnings.
