The dog that didn't bark in all of this is the level of coordination between all of the cities participating and the fact that nobody in the media appears to want to pursue that angle. Certainly there was a great deal of natural coordination through the media themselves simply reporting the excitement, but what we actually saw goes far beyond that. This cost money. This required resources. And when I saw, as I did, a level of alarm and disgust across the political spectrum at the deliberate flame-fanning going on in the media I have to conclude that it's something more than the usual tribalism that so pervades the American political scene these days.

One is tempted to use words like "conspiracy" a little too freely, but when we see something like the Occupy movement spring up suddenly out of fallow ground, it's a little difficult to believe that there isn't some serious professional organization behind it.

They'll be back. Riots are fun for everyone but the victims.

These planned riots have two main planners: Clown Prince nobama and eric The Red holder. Both should be in prison for the rest of their worthless lives.

People should defend their homes and businesses with force.

Extremely frustrating......to see the ones in power enable this type of behavior for votes.

I think law enforcement blew it.

The court house and police department are in perfect shape, yet dozens of businesses were looted/torched. This after previous looting/riots months prior, and the fact LE was warned multiple times, and they actually in place, set up, and totally ready/prepared.

They just played with the rioters IMO.

Rubber bullets would have put this to bed in record time. Rubber bullets are no joke and they will ruin your your entire week, and has a tenancy to quickly remove the fight from people.

It’s almost seemed like a setup, as if the store owners were all given the opportunity to max out their insurance policies to cover their stores and stock...

Who knows, but it certainly was not handled correctly.

Que bono? Predictable manipulation of low-information tribalist thugs by the Communist thugs in the press, the government, and the Black Grievance Industry.

I hear that Obama was going to show up personally, but that they wouldn’t let him bring his Molotov cocktails onboard Air Force One. :O

I’m sick and tired of rioting, looting and arson committed by criminals who are treated with kid gloves by politicians.

I think that it would be a good place to use the doctrine of vicarious liability against the Obama-Holder demagogues, the Sharpton race-grievance industry, the MSM employees and others of their ilk as the doctrine has been used against white supremacists.

Make the Obama-Holder demagogues, the Sharpton race-grievance industry, the MSM employees and others of their ilk pay for the damage they caused. Sue them.

I am no lawyer as you will soon discern; but..

Traditional principles of vicarious liability include

Though associated with criminal law, these theories can be used to attribute fault to persons not directly related to an act that harmed a victim.

It must be proved that the others 'provided substantial assistance or encouragement' to those who did harm the victim.

In the SPLC suit against Tom Metzger and WAR the skinheads were not members of Metzger's WAR. But Metzger's rantings had influence over the mindless skinheads due to his reputation in the white supremacy movement

Tom Metzger recruited 16-year-old Mazzella and schooled him in the world of racist violence. Mazzella was sent to Portland to join up with and train the East Side White Pride [skinheads]. Members of that group later brutally murdered an innocent black man.

How is that any different that being "recruited" in college or by progressive ideologues?

The aiding and abetting theory fits because

Lawyers can invoke the aiding and abetting theory with relative ease. Invoking the aiding and abetting assumes two independent actors.

To prove an aiding and abetting claim

Civil conspiracy was also used and proved against the Metzgers because he had contacted the East Side White Pride skinheads and after the murder and their arrest one skinhead called Metzger from jail. Here civil conspiracy might be proved by any contacts between the criminals and Sharpton, Holder, Obama, et al.

Obviously I am not a lawyer and this is a kind of an outline of information available on the Internet. Why can't it be used against the "progressives" and racists of all colors?

Dang. Almost as bad as those tea party rallies the DHS has been warning us about.

Aw hell, Ferguson is still safer than any rural church parking lot on a Sunday morning with a bunch "bitter clingers" with their Bibles and guns.

Where to have the most anger towards...hmmm. Obama and Holder continually hating on law enforcement, mangling up the rule of law to serve their interests and disavowing the police at every turn while giving the thugs a heads up to riot and to destroy as the Obama regime moves his radical agenda; basically against whites, on through.

It’s sickening also to see the media making a narrative (actually, brainwashing), in making these protestors as some kind of a beautiful and monumental expression towards supporting an idea of stopping white cops from killing black children. They were poor due to the white establishment. Heaven forbid, they look to the liberalism they themselves gave power to.

On the bright side, ha.. if you are black and angry, go riot, loot, rob and burn because you have an excuse because Obama said the blacks have a reason to feel the way they do about the poleice..

If you are tea party, you are a terrorist.

"What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson?"

I'm glad I live where I do. (Far from Ferguson, in more ways than one.)

Curious why the Missouri National Guard wasn't stationed all over the city 10 deep before the verdict. Because the governor was worried that -- it would make the residents angry???

I feel bad for the normal people trying to make a living there who don’t buy into the idiotic crap being spewed by the racist agitators.

I think all the people protesting should be maced, cuffed or more, and the media personalities egging them on should be fired.

Period.
