What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson?

Posted on 11/26/2014 10:28:50 AM PST by Jim Robinson

What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson? Rocks, bottles, bricks, Molotov cocktails thrown. Stores looted and burned. Private property destroyed. Cars burned. Churches burned. Smoke, tear gas. Gunfire, including from automatic (assault) rifles. Looked and sounded like a war zone.

Dang. Almost as bad as those tea party rallies the DHS has been warning us about.

The same people who think the Tea Party is destructive and dangerous seem to understand and excuse this reaction. At this point, with the evidence out there, anyone rioting, or upset about the nonindictment, has not got the logic of a five year old.

That includes all the black celebrities who’ve been commenting. My little crush on Pharrell ended in one second last night. On the Voice, he and his two contestants sang “Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. He changed the lyric from “and I think to myself” to “and if Justice will unfold.” Disgusting. And yes, it means he is stupid.

There are surely racial incidents of police brutality somewhere. But this shooting was not one of them.

Exactly, Jim. The progressive, liberal, Marxist left ALWAYS tries to paint the people opposed to them with their own brush...with the very things they do and urge others to do.

Ferguson is a trumped-up construct to try and drive wedges and do more race pimping and race baiting. The Sharptons, Jacksons, Obamas, Holders, and their lackey know it...and they pursue this destructive agenda on the backs of people they have propagandized, indoctrinated, and perverted with free "stuff," in order to get them to do precisely what is happening.

Well, I say this:

Beware any man or woman or party that promises a quick fix for you on the backs of others. Or promises that your "special interests," no matter how perverse, will be included as the norm for society. Such politicians are snake oil salesmen of the worst sort and their attempts to use class envy, a promise of free stuff, and their power in government to force these things are nothing but a deceit and lie to empower themselves at your expense.

Faith in God, strong families, hard work, personal responsibility, honesty, integrity, the free market, and a reliance on our unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are the answers. No one can "give you," happiness. You must use these fundamental values and then pursue and find it for yourselves! THAT is the promise of America.

Another “manufactured” crisis. This administration has done its best to whip this up. There is evidence that the “rent-a-mob” types have been brought in to make it large and violent.

It is part of the Communist game plan to destabilize the country and is right out of the Marxist playbook. The pity is that it seems to be working. We are distracted from the impeachment level crimes of the administration while they whip up social conflict, flood our cities with illegals and drag out wars while decimating our military.

THAT is what I think of it. :(

I think it was good for the ratings of the news outlets.
Happened right on cue exactly per script.

And what was all that stuff about Fast and Furious, IRS, ISIS, Bengazi? Not important as the thugs burning Ferguson for sure.

The riots went off as scheduled. Doesn’t anyone in Ferguson notice the organizers, bull horns, matching union T-shirts, 50 year old radical rhetoric, and their city, destroyed by design, regardless of the grand jury outcome?

The mainstream media is really a joke. There is no such thing as fair journalism or journalism in general. It has become the arm of the obama administration and the left. But, we’re too STUPID to figure that out./s

1. The damage done was without any resistance. Police were visible, but willfully impotent. Thug mobs just went store to store, looting & torching, with nobody trying to stop them.

2. Those who DID resist did not suffer damage. The lady manager of a Papa John’s kept her store safe by getting in the faces of would-be vandals. And NOBODY is talking about that store in the burn zone which was obviously surrounded by not-taking-any-sh!t people and likely survived unscathed.

3. The protests - actual organized sign-waving marchers as opposed to the looting/burning thugs - were remarkably small. NYC saw a group marching thru streets, numbering around 200 max ... there were as many happenstance onlookers at any given time. Likewise Ferguson and other locations. Cameras on the ground tried to make the numbers look large & widespread, but helicopter raw footage showed there really wasn’t much to the protests. They were disruptive of traffic only because they just walked into traffic and took advantage of drivers’ propensity to give right-of way and not risk harm.

4. For all the show of force, and throwing of gas canisters, police did remarkably little. Dozens arrested? that’s it? SWAT teams just hanging out at gas stations while buildings get systematically torched all around? All I saw was a few impressive riot trucks slowly rolling down a street dispersing the crowd ... and doing nothing to ensure that crowd didn’t just reassemble elsewhere. Don’t plan on police protection when SHTF. “Don’t engage” was the working imperative. Remember: National Guard was called up, yet not rolled out until the day _after_ rioting started.

5. Watching POTUS mumble about not rioting, while juxtaposed with a split-screen view of cop cars being rocked, smashed & torched, was ... enlightening.

6. Shutting down freeways was a popular activity. NYC and Atlanta being notable cases. Should it occur with you on the freeway, odds are you WON’T be the first at the blockade, so won’t be in a position to “roll thru ‘em”. You won’t be moving. Police cars, lights ablaze and sirens roaring, won’t be moving. The next exit will probably be too far. You’re not going to get out and engage, as they’ll be far far ahead of you. A handful of twits can stop traffic with ease, creating a miles-long parking lot in minutes. Don’t be on a freeway when riots are expected, as you’ll get stopped, trapped, and not a d*** thing you can do about it. Take the side roads - FAR off the freeway. And that’s all not considering the riot value of overpasses.

7. If you _are_ going to drive, everything you need (HINT) should be in arm’s reach and not loose. When a mob suddenly materializes around your car, you’re not going to the trunk for anything.

These animals were looking for an excuse to riot and rob stores. It did not matter the outcome of the grand jury verdict.

These are the same animals that were part of the occupy civil disorder anywhere in America. They were part of the same group in the Governor Walker incident that messed up the capitol building. They are nothing more than criminals and should be considered terrorists. We need a new classification in the judicial system with conviction in this terrorists disorder and should be a quick trial with sentencing to 25 year with no probation.

The police and Nation Guard miss the mandate that they are charged. If it meant bashing heads, so be it. The Guard fully armed should have surrounded as much as they could and the police should have made arrest. No damn excuse or this shi! will never end but will expand.

Peaceful assembly is accepted as long as it does not tied up businesses from operating and keep traffic open.

Until the Black Community acknowledges that it’s a “culture” issue among them it won’t matter how many programs or money or rescues are given. ...and it better be soon because this administration is replacing their use of them to the Mexican and Latino community....which will lower the black community even lower.

The dog that didn't bark in all of this is the level of coordination between all of the cities participating and the fact that nobody in the media appears to want to pursue that angle. Certainly there was a great deal of natural coordination through the media themselves simply reporting the excitement, but what we actually saw goes far beyond that. This cost money. This required resources. And when I saw, as I did, a level of alarm and disgust across the political spectrum at the deliberate flame-fanning going on in the media I have to conclude that it's something more than the usual tribalism that so pervades the American political scene these days.

One is tempted to use words like "conspiracy" a little too freely, but when we see something like the Occupy movement spring up suddenly out of fallow ground, it's a little difficult to believe that there isn't some serious professional organization behind it.

They'll be back. Riots are fun for everyone but the victims.

“Sign me up for the counter-protests. You know, the “riots” that plant flowers, pick up trash, and make a city more civilized and livable.”

That is called gentrification. And it is bad and racist

“There are no real words to describe burning you own community to the ground.”

Someone suggested, in detail, that such behavior may have been planned: burn down & drive out occupants, cause property values to plummet, then leverage the blighted & abandoned area for seriously high-dollar development. Remember, much of the “protesters” were bussed in and organized. “Huh, what a marvelous & fortuitous opportunity to build that new square-mile sports stadium complex...”

These planned riots have two main planners: Clown Prince nobama and eric The Red holder. Both should be in prison for the rest of their worthless lives.
